When he went to get his medical done he was asked for a P4 letter but got away with it because he had an appointment confirmation. He mentioned in his post that his wife's interview went smoothly without any issues.

No I didn't talk to him. I just read his posts on VJ. I am not sure if my problem is solved yet. I have to wait to get a response to my email from the consular which probably won't be till Monday.

@jen targ no you r not the only one, same situation here :( our cases CC was on 24th May and we r still waiting for interview date

@JBMG I called NVC yesterday and today morning and when I asked him about my daughters cases the rep told me that US EMBASSY at Egypt is one of the busiest embassies and it is a normal thing that I didn't get interview date.😔 , ps congratulation on your P4 letter 👏🏻

That's not very nice.. Really sorry about that.. But after reviewing their online reviews on how it is to work there, i can see why some of the NVC reps can be quite rude to us.. Thanks for the update.. . Seems like the majority of you waiting for a date are in the same boat dealing with busy embassies.. Hope you get your date soon.

Thanks guys!  There is a high probability that my earlier interview date request will be declined but worth a shot...you never know.  At least to some degree that could be evidence of relationship...me driving them nuts over my wife's case ;)
