It just means that your mother's file will now be reviewed by the embassy. You can contact your embassy now because it's the embassy that had to approve your expedited request. They're aware of your file. Def agree with @PP_2016, call them now to see if you can arrange your mother to join your father with his interview date. ;)  To clarify, the NVC will no longer approve/deny your mother's file.. It's up to your embassy do that..

I had a NVC rep tell me that sometimes, the expedited requests are approved so fast that they don't even receive our files from the NVC before the interview date.. Not sure if this is true, but knowing this, I would def bring all originals that you submitted to the USCIS and NVC ..

Wishing you luck, keep us posted.

Thank you @JBMG! I will send the consulate an email today to ask them to schedule my mom on the same day as my dad's. Do you want me to update the spreadsheet with my dad's interview date? Or should I wait until I hear a final decision about my mom's interview date? Have you gotten your interview date yet?

Got the interview date!!!!!   August 24 at 8 AM.

It would of have been better if it was earlier.

Congratulations!!!!

To answer my previous question: Email confirmation of interview arrived 24hrs after phone confirmation.

(Is there a way to quote from several pages at once so that I don't have to do multiple posts. I would prefer to have  one long post to multiple people from different pages on this forum? Cant seem to figure this out.)

So many interview dates!!!! Hopefully I haven't missed congratulating someone!!!! The next couple of weeks is going to get real exciting on here.

Not sure if it's the easiest way but this is how I do it..

I'll start on an earliest post i want to reply to.. Then will 'quote' the reply, write my response.. Then will 'cut' all my text: using the keyboard, will select ALL by doing ctrl A (PC) / cmd A (Mac)..  then cutting it by clicking ctrl X (PC) / cmd X (Mac)..  Then go to the next page, scroll to the bottom, paste the text.. ctrl V (PC) / cmd V (Mac) .. then place cursor under the pasted text, then repeat..

Hi Guys, few questions...

1.  NVC website says to make appointment for medical as soon P4 arrives. But, the medical center performing the examination states it can be only done 3 weeks before interview date.  Medical for my wife will also be done in Islamabad at Aziz Medical Center.  Any suggestions?

2.  I submitted AOS with wet signature to NVC in the packet.  She will have a photocopy of the entire packet with her.  Will this suffice?  Or should I reprint AOS and sign it again and give her that copy?

Thank you.

Congratulations to everyone who have received their interview dates/P4.  Best of luck to those waiting.

Scan Date:  4/19/2017

CC:  6/21/2017

Medical:  Early August???

Interview:  August 24, 2017 at 8 AM (called NVC, P4 expected in 24-48 hours)

Did you get a checklist that states that you need a new  corrected AOS? If not whatever you already sent her will suffice.  Even if you were asked to do a new AOS you can still email or fax a copy,  an original AOS is not required. As far as the wet signature goes I clarified with NVC and they don't require a wet signature anymore. Refer to the link below.

Good luck with everything!

Also I am not sure why the medical center would make you wait just three weeks before the interview because as far as I know the medical report is valid for 6 months.

Thanks @KaurN.  I don't have any checklists.  Original AOS is with NVC.  Shes got photocopies of everything I submitted to NVC.  We are all set than.  All my wife needs now is medical exam, original documents (where applicable), and passport photos.
