i havent seen my husband for over a year now our anniversary was in May and we thought I would be there by that time and the checklist messed us up, now this will be good when it will be finally here.

Have you seen this? Someone shared it, tells you how many visas are getting processed by your embassy/consulate..

In order to get a clarification on the whole wet signature ordeal I called NVC this morning and spoke to a very nice rep named Heather. She told me that wet signatures on Affidavits of support are no longer required and scanned or faxed copy will suffice.

Hmm, they're not required for the NVC to review.. But was thinking a signature was required at the embassy/consulate.. That's what I've understood from the text.. 

 

"Starting January 1, 2017, the National Visa Center (NVC) will accept photocopies and scanned versions of signed Forms I-864 and associated documents. Please note that the form must still be signed; typed names and electronic signatures will not be accepted."

A signature is still required but the beneficiary attending the interview does not need to take an original AOS to the interview they can take a copy. This probably pertains to people like me who got a checklist to bring a corrected AOS to the interview.
