Oh ok, GOOD to hear that you're in contact with a supervisor and that they have your police certificate.  You're going to be fine. Doesn't make sense why they need the finger prints too.. You already submitted those to get your police certificate.. You could argue, "well i don't have them, i gave them to the Police to get my police certificate"  Hopefully you'll hear back within a couple of days from a supervisor. Keep us posted.

Summary Information

After you have completed these two steps, you should gather and submit all required documents to NVC:   Step 3: Your petitioner should complete the appropriate Form I-864 (Affidavit of Support) and collect evidence of his/her income. Instructions are online in English and Spanish.     Step 5: Submit all of the required documents from Steps 3 and 4 together in one package to NVC. Instructions are online in English and Spanish. NVC will contact your agent to tell you if there are additional items required or if visa pre-processing is complete. im excited but they didnt give much information on the email except to wait for your appointment. 

The timelines are subjective to your embassy's availability. You can always go to @JBMG 's google form to check how your embassy has been performing offlate. Let me know if you do not have the link to it.

 

& yes, you can carry your documents to your Interview. Just follow the advise as on the checklist & your P4.

Wife finished biometric and fingerprint on 22nd, she has her Medical schedule for this Saturday, and interview on July 11th. On CEAC website, the case status changed to "READY" today.

Hey guys.

As some of you know, my husband has his consular interview scheduled for next Wednesday (July 5).

Well, he went today to get his medical done, and the doctor said everything was fine, but he needs to have a TB Cultures test taken, and the results will be ready in 9 weeks.The doctor told him to go to the interview as scheduled and gave him a paper for the embassy that says medical results will be ready after 9 weeks due to additional tests.

We are very sad, but well, we'll just have to wait, hoping that the test results are negative.

I am travelling to Colombia tomorrow night because I want to be with him at the interview. What I'm not sure is if they at the embassy won't interview him at all, or if they will interview him and put the case on Administrative Processing until the medical results are ready.

Just wanted to share.

oh that does suck.. sorry.. another blow.. Does the embassy have a different medical doctor on file that can get those results to you faster? 

 

I don't see why they wouldn't interview him.. Once you get those medical results, they may have him come back in for another interview to bring those results and drop off his passport. Each one has its own policies..

 

hope you can find a solution so you don't have to wait 9 more weeks. ugh.. sucks. so sorry..
