One of my friends got the notification next day of the interview. But by the time he could go to collect it was already 4pm in the evening. So he collected the day after.

my status on CEAC says "At NVC" but I updated the spreadsheet with a case complete for June 28th.  do i have a case complete even though i have received this checklist to bring this document to Barbados?

Yes, it has happened with few more people. I feel, technically it's right to complete the case and send the checklist for the documents to be brought to the interview. At least not that Horrifying 11weeks again ..😱😱

There are five steps you must take before the National Visa Center (NVC) can schedule your visa interview at a U.S. Embassy overseas. Anytime in Tampa area, do let us know too. We have many beautiful beaches here as well as Busch Garden, Universal Studio and Zoo.

No welcome letter is the initial letter NVC sends after creating a case number for us. When did you get this? By email or mail?

Hi guys! Has anyone here heard or have any experience with expedite request? I am applying for IR5 for both my parents and NVC so far has only booked an interview for one of my parents. I got CC for both cases on May 15th and received my dad's interview in the beginning of last week. I sent out an expedite request asking for my mother's interview to be on the same day as my dad's and the Consulate approved my expedite request yesterday (They replied to my request in less than 48 hours). I am confused now because I am not sure if this approval means that my mother will have her interview on the same day as my father's. I called NVC and the representative was very rude and did not give me much information. What do y'all think? How does an expedite request process work? I appreciate any input! Thank you

What I have understood from your post is, your father has his interview scheduled but not your mother. Now that the embassy has approved the expedition request and you have her CC, I suggest you give them a call to check whether they have given her a date or you need to schedule it for her. I don't think this approval means she can go for the interview the same day unless they confirm you the same. Just call and check with them. Good luck.

thanks @dream4200 hopefully they give interview date soon. so how many days they usually take in forwarding completed case from nvc to embassy?
