On the PCC- even I was asked to get my husbands name on to the passport. But I stressed that I will get it done later. I didn't want it to be done as the i130 would have had a different passport number &/or a new name; if at all I had got my passport modified. I didn't want to create a confusion as NVC was taking lot of time.

For my PCC the passport officer herself suggested me to get my husband's name updated when i get my passport refresh in 2018 (passport expiration year). She didnt insist on getting it right away. but i wouldnt have wondered if she did..:)

Hey guys, hope everyone's doing well. I've been on vacation for 4 weeks (don't be jealous, lol) and now back to work.

 

Anyway, quick update on the case. 

 

Wife finished biometric and fingerprint on 22nd, she has her Medical schedule for this Saturday, and interview on July 11th. On CEAC website, the case status changed to "READY" today. :)

07/22/2016: I-130 sent to USCIS

07/25/2016: NOA1, I-130 received at USCIS Nebraska Service Center

02/14/2017: NOA2, I-130 approved (205 Days after NOA1)

02/27/2017: Approved I-130 sent to NVC

03/03/2017: I-130 received at NVC

03/06/2017: Case number assigned

03/10/2017: Received email with case number and invoice number & DS-261 Submitted

03/10/2017: Received & Paid AOS fees

03/14/2017: Received & Paid IV fees

Yes, that's a Case Complete !! :) Congrats and thank you for already updating the spreadsheet.  When you'll receive your interview date depends on when your embassy/consulate will release them. The NVC started receiving dates from some countries. :) If you're eager to find out. I suggest calling the NVC to see if they have scheduled your interview.. Best time to call is in the morning or evening.

Exactly! and she's not upset about it. She just want to celebrate my birthday here in US with me which is July 18th. I just hope everything gets done before that. There couldn't be better gift from God for me than my wife comes here on or before my birthday.

So happy for you guys..I am sure everything will be in order by then. Embassy in Delhi & mumbai usually hand over the passport and the sealed packet the very next day of the interview. Hope for the best..!

I hope so too. My cousin said that her wife got visa in 3 business days so I'm hoping some kind of miracle.

USCIS

07/22/2016: I-130 sent to USCIS

07/25/2016: NOA1, I-130 received at USCIS Nebraska Service Center

02/14/2017: NOA2, I-130 approved (205 Days after NOA1)

02/27/2017: Approved I-130 sent to NVC

 

NVC

03/03/2017: I-130 received at NVC

03/06/2017: Case number assigned

03/10/2017: Received email with case number and invoice number & DS-261 Submitted

03/10/2017: Received & Paid AOS fees

03/14/2017: Received & Paid IV fees

03/16/2017: DS-260 available & submitted, AOS and IV packets sent to NVC

03/20/2017: Scan Date

05/22/2017: Case Complete (63 Days from Scan Date)

06/02/2017: Interview Notification received

06/22/2017:Biometrics done

07/01/2017: Medical done

07/11/2017: Interview in Mumbai (And 1st Marriage anniversary)

07/13/2017: Visa Received

07/27/2017: USA Entry

 

Removing Condition

 

04/22/2019: I-751 sent early 5 days

05/20/2019: Case was return back to me

05/30/2019: I-751 Delivered to TX (2nd time)

07/25/2019: Bio-metric completed

09/19/2019: Interview, Case Approved

09/26/2019: Green Card received 😀
