I wonder why you are getting disconnected. I have not had that experience before.

What I've discovered:

 

First rep I spoke with automatically assumed I checked off a "yes" somewhere on my ds 260 within the security section related to criminal offenses. She was wrong but apparently many of the checklists are based on your responses to certain questions on your ds260.  

 

Second rep said the same. From the second rep, I've come to realize no specific notes are included for any of the calls to NVC from that it was escalated to a supervisor for review - most likely for data protection purposes.  This explains why reps on follow up calls to the NVC have no insight into information or discussions on previous calls.

 

hope that's informative for others going through this painful process! Will provide updates as I go along and will update the tracker @JBMG when I get home

Good to know the details. I am sure we will this file resolved without any further issues/checklist. 😊

My husband always used to call them around 11:30 in the night, once he had called at 11:50 and had got through without waiting time. (This is not a cheat code 😜😜)

If you were calling in the past two hours I think not. I had to call three times. The first I got through after 11 min (shocking!) but it dropped as I was giving my details. I thought it was my phone so I called using a different device and waited 30+ minutes and it dropped again just as I go through. The third time 30+ minutes again and it went through. I think the issue is on their side if other people are having connection issues too.

Yes, you can try.  I'm on the line right now.. And yes, depends on the consulate availability.. If you see someone else from your country with an interview date, then that means that country has released their availability to the NVC.

I just can't give up.. after being disconnected 2 times, trying again..  def try when they're about to open or close..

Hi Guys,

 

Need some advice Please! We got a checklist from NVC requesting sponsor tax info, and for another I184 to be submitted as it "was not signed". We submitted 3 years of tax returns for my co-sponsor (w2's etc) and 2 for my main sponsor - NVC say they got none and that I can bring them to the interview which isn't a problem.

However, they said the I-864 wasn't signed by my co-sponsor (we are 110% positive that it was), and now they are saying submit it again and itll take another 11 weeks to process.

We requested to speak to a supervisor, to which we were told they do not have a supervisor.

 

Any Advice appreciated.... We've had a rough time with DHS prior to this so its getting disheartening. Thanks!
