Just called NVC but unfortunately no interview have been scheduled for my daughters .

Does anyone know if is it possible to re-schedule an interview by my self after NVC sets the date to be prior the Date given by NVC

I've seen with our embassy, that we can reschedule our interview ourselves directly with our embassy..

Invalid checklist for court records 3 hours ago. Husband has no court records, no convictions, no fines, no prison records. He only had a misdemeanor with a cautionary warning which was reflected in his police certificate.

I'm hoping I can resolve this via a call to nvc or escalating to a supervisor. I'd be devastated if there was another 11 weeks tacked on. Since there's no document to provide, I'm hoping issue is resolved and original SD stands but not sure at this point.  Any advice?

I hope you manage to get it sorted ASAP. :)

Not sure because every embassy has different procedures/processes. My advice would be to contact your embassy if you can...

@JessieABC sorry to hear about the invalid checklist. Hope you successfully escalate it to the supervisor and get it resolved. If you have no additional document to provide then I don't see any reason why they would take another 11 weeks. hopefully they would resolve it over the phone. Good luck and do keep us posted about the progress.

At the embassy just before the interview, they ask your preferred language for interview. You can chose your regional language. People actually choose to give interview in PUNJABI. I have heard one CO in delhi embassy talking very good Punjabi during my tourist visa interview. I was surprised to see him talking fluent Punjabi. And yes they always have a translator with them.

I never thought this was possible - because when I had a tourist visa appointment, they did not offer me a choice of language for interview. I thought it was always at the time of making an appointment( online) that you were given a choice.

No worries. We can specify in our reviews post interview.

Now specific to @KaurN - Yes at the time of booking appointment with Visa application centre, they ask for the preferred language. We cant change that in the form.

Yes, even I think it's hard to change, But @KaurN try calling the Embassy helpdesk and see if they can make a change for you.

Tanish mentioned in his experience.

Yes. He did. I thought it can only be chosen at the time of appointment.

CC was 6/21.  So exactly one week after.

Spoke with NVC rep late last night, she said I should hear something by end of this week.

Good Luck!
