First half of the month they schedule mostly. Then there's just a lucky few for the 2nd half of the month who get assigned one of the unused slots if someone else delays their interview.

Oh OK, that's good to know. Thanks.

Good luck with your interview. :)

Does anyone know when the NVC are likely to stop scheduling for August interviews?

Hi, if you can get your CC before the end of June, you'll have a greater chance of getting an August interview date. ;)

As you can see from our spreadsheet. @pjsr and @Phason are waiting for their interview date.. pjsr got his CC on June 1st, and Phason on June 16h... But all the CCs from May got their interview dates in June... md11pilot had his case expedited.. So that's probably why he was able to get a July interview date.

So just got a checklist after CC but the notification clearly states I can bring the missing documents to the interview. However, this checklist is a little strange for my case and I wanted to ask for your help. NVC is asking for my wife's (USC) W-2 for 2015 only, but she's been living and working in Colombia since 2013 therefore she doesn't have W-2s for the 3 years of taxes we submitted (2014, 2015, 2016) but NVC is asking just for the W-2 of that year. As a side note and background we have a co-sponsor to help us surpass the requirements with income and we did submit everything for that person, including W-2.

Advised by the NVC customer service, I included a letter explaining why I didn't have W2 forms. So I did not receive that request in my checklist letter.. We're using assets since we're both living together in France.. My checklist letter advised us to bring a joint-sponsor AOS form to the interview if our assets don't meet the requirements..  I'm waiting for the interview letter to see what it suggests we bring..

So for you, would advise her to write a letter explaining why she doesn't have w2's for the past 3 years.. Bringing that letter to your interview to give to the counselor..

Just make sure you have your joint-sponsors most recent tax transcripts.. If possible get the last 3 years. ;) Better to have more than less...

Invalid checklist for court records 3 hours ago. Husband has no court records, no convictions, no fines, no prison records. He only had a misdemeanor with a cautionary warning which was reflected in his police certificate.

I'm hoping I can resolve this via a call to nvc or escalating to a supervisor. I'd be devastated if there was another 11 weeks tacked on. Since there's no document to provide, I'm hoping issue is resolved and original SD stands but not sure at this point.  Any advice?

Hmm, not sure.. If for example, if you request 'court records', can they give you something to say that he doesn't have anything on file? If so, then you're in a tough spot.. If so, then once you get that info, send ASAP to the NVC, then get confirmation of arrival.. Then maybe after a 1-4 weeks, try to get a hold of a supervisor.. OR you can try sending in an expedited request.. So sorry Jess that this happened to you guys.. Really sucks.. I really HOPE you can get it resolved over the phone. Wishing you luck. Keep us posted.
