Go back and change the interview language? I do not think so. I haven't seen an option to go back. Has anybody else tried??

 

On the PCC- even I was asked to get my husbands name on to the passport. But I stressed that I will get it done later. I didn't want it to be done as the i130 would have had a different passport number &/or a new name; if at all I had got my passport modified. I didn't want to create a confusion as NVC was taking lot of time.

Today I finally got the email with the on setting up appointments (wanted to make sure I got that first) and my interviews has been scheduled for July 19th for my hubby and step son. Super excited but the madness is still not over yet. Now to book my flight and all the other stuff......

I don't think so.. You're going to want to do it in English if you can. If not, I believe you can have an interpreter.

At the embassy just before the interview, they ask your preferred language for interview. You can chose your regional language. People actually choose to give interview in PUNJABI. I have heard one CO in delhi embassy talking very good Punjabi during my tourist visa interview. I was surprised to see him talking fluent Punjabi. And yes they always have a translator with them.
