Side question; when we get approved do i have to move everything at once or can i go and do the port of entry without all my things and then come back a week later and start my moving? I was scheduled to go in August for a religous function but that wil be my first entry after the interview so i was wondering if i do my port of entry then and i can come back after a few day and prepare fully for my move?

Congrats, did you get the email with the interview date. I had the same experience and they cancell my interview date for July 7th, now waiting for new date, CC May 19th

No I didn't get an email. That's upsetting. I registered for everything they can't take it back

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but they cancel anytime. Hopefully you won't have to suffer the cancellation.

When I signed in to choose a courier service it had my interview date on file already. Could it Still mean they could change the date ? Now I'm nervous and paranoid

meh my credit card gets me. $300 discount if I book the airline ticket this month but the passport return time is so random case to case I guess This discount will be going to waste.

The reason they gave to others was, there is a problem with the new system setup at the embassy/consulate, or something along that line. Now I'm not sure about the details that you just mentioned. People from your country may be able to shed some more light on it.

I selected the passport pick up location same as the consulate city even though it is 5-5:30 hours drive away in hope that I can get a couple of days early.

 

P.S. They told me that I will receive the passport within a week.

@JBMG Hey! 😊 I called NVC just now and I found out our interview has been scheduled!!! I am in tears of joy!!! I burst into tears when the representative told me to go grab a pen and paper to write it down. 🙏 Interview appointment date is July 31 in Mumbai Consulate!!! I have updated my questionnaire (this time I'd saved the email to edit my response). I left the "interview notification date" column blank because I didn't get any written notification yet, only by phone as of now. Thank you so much and I pray everyone gets their interview dates as well. ❤️

Since my case was completed on May 18th I sent an inquiry to the nvc asking to schedule my interview without my son's case being completed, I received this reply today:  The petition is waiting for an appointment to be scheduled at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in CIUDAD JUAREZ, MEXICO. When an interview appointment is scheduled, the petitioner, principal applicant, designated agent, and attorney of record (if applicable) will be notified. So this is kinda the same email I got when my case was completed, how long will it take for an interview to be scheduled Cd Juarez applicants? How long did it take to you?
