I don't subscribe. Can anyone tell me if they report a SD or SEM? The total number in the two groups is very different, so I wanted to do a quick t-test to see if it was even statistically significant.

Also just realized they are reporting a median, not a mean. That would be impacted quite a bit more by the smaller population of female CEO's compared to male counterparts. Also curious what the mean of each is.

I'm not so sure the individual salaries of people for incorporated businesses are public. FOIA for example limits your ability to get information on individuals unless there's a public compelling reason, which is rare. So my guess is you're limited to financial statements which include assets, liabilities, capital/equity, and expenses (including taxes and how much they pay in general for salary expenses), but not individual salaries.
