Hey guys!

We are currently waiting for our NOA2. The estimate here says we should receive it around July 12th.

So we just decided that I'm flying there July 15th, and I'm trying to decide if I want to fly back August 9th or September 4th (those are the cheapest dates). And I was wondering if we receive our NOA2 around July 12th, would it be alright if I continued the process after 2 months?

I'm trying to make sense of your question:

-'I'm flying there' : where is there? the US? overseas?

- 'would it be alright if I continued the process after 2 months' - what does that mean? which process? That you enter the US after 2 months? pay the visa fee after 2 months?

Be as specific as possible and you'll get the most helpful answers.

In general, estimates are just that so don't book anything too fixed that you can't change. You could get hit with an RFE, stuck in AP, there could be a delay, etc...

My bad, sorry! So I basically want to visit my fiancé in the US until September 4th and if we receive our NOA2 around July 12th, I would continue the K1 process once I'm back home (send packets, medical, interview, etc.) so after September 4th.

Would that cause problems?

here's what CBP has to say: https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/1247/~/travel-while-k-1-fiance%2Ffiancee-visa-pending

I didn't use K1 so don't have actual experience with this
