Hi everyone

my K1 interview was on 30th may ,

the VO asked me question about my family and my fiancé family ,

where she lives in US,

where she works,

job tittle

about her siblings and mine

why we wana marry in US and not pakistan

what i do , i told him i work in Germany in hotel as night manager.

He asked what will I do in US I said I will carry on with my career ,

he askek, did we considered moving to Germany , I said she has family in US but I don't and it's easy for me to get a job in US and she can't in Germany cos of language barrier,

in the end the VO said my case needs further AP and gave me slip with 221G ticked with your case needs further Administration process.

(In others he asked for all old originals passports)

VO said after submitting my passports he can tell me when my visa will be done , he didnt say approved of denied. He kept my passport !

I said ok and left with greetings

now I can't find my original previous passport

i only have copies .... please provide your views and if someone went through same things

can I submit my previous passport copies ?

Please help me

From my understanding when they want the old passport they want the entire thing complete, no missing pages. Sometimes it is to reference an old passport number in case you recently got a 'newer' one; but this sounds like they want to see all of it before making a decision.

Ben&zain,

i do have the copies of Old  passport to relate the old one with new one with clear stamp from Pakistan embassy that the new passport has been issued.

Now before my previous passport all the passports in Pakistan use to be manual not computerized so I wasted those.

I am lost don't know what to do

If that's the case, just tell them you misplaced the old passport and send the copies. Nothing else you can do. If it's lost it's lost. Write an explanation that it's been lost/misplaced and submit that with the copies.

Thanks for your reply ,

do you think I have to be worried ? After submitting the copies ? I spoke to my lawyer as well and he said we will attach copies with explanation letter.

Do u think, keeping my passport is a good sign ?

Keep your passport is a good sign. But AP slip is not as much. I had my interview on March 27th, 2017. CO asked basic questions about my fiance. Everything went well and at the end CO gave me 221(g) slip with AP required. No further docs were asked. Till today only 2 updates but nothing else.

I hope we all get the visas soon.
