I am sick of waiting..............and I think the worst part is not knowing when the waiting will be over......can't do a countdown of the days.

Exactly, without a timeframe the whole process causes anxiety.

Honestly, if they would tell me that in exactly 4 or 5 month he would for sure

receive his visa I would be jumping for joy, get busy and motivated to plan

the wedding .....look forward to all the normal little things that goes with anticipating

and planning a wedding and the reunion but instead I am paralyzed and act like a deer

caught in head lights :hehe::blink: frozen in time !

It's the apprehension of fear of denial or rejection. It's like we all are expecting something to happen, but, we don't know. Like in a movie.

Include me I'm very sick of waiting and thinking!

I believe its the anxiety and stress of not knowing what is going on with my papers! Even my husband told me not to think about it, I just cant help it! How can you not think of it?! It's bugging me a lot, even on my dreams!

I feel so sad about this situation and I don't want to experience this whole thing anymore. :crying: :crying: :crying:

Don't dwell or become obsessed with your situation. Really get into a hobby, work, learn as much as you can about your spouse's country, language, make friends from the local community that are from his/her homeland. Write letters, send pictures, don't just talk on the phone or send e mails ( if thats even possible )

I've been working overtime, and saving, using my vacation for another long trip across the sea. Hoping to buy a house and fix it up later in the year. We're talking a few months verses the rest of our lives with the person we love here . I really believe there's some truth in the old saying " absence make the heart grow fonder".Most important, prey every day that everything will turn out O.K. Have FAITH !!

I try not to get too sappy on the forums but, I haven't seen my husband or step son in over seven months. It's heart breaking for me, but I can't imagine how it is for him, and that hurts even more. He hasn't seen our baby or his step son either. Thankfully for internet, web cams, telephones, and the lot we've been able to feel somewhat closer, but the wait and the uncertainty is torture. It does help you to realise all the little things you took for granted when you were together. My mom has been a rock for me, and she listens to me cry and fuss, and reminds me that the things in life worth having are never easy, and at the end of the proccess there is a new life for us together with our three wee boys - even if I did decide to marry a guy who wears a skirt (ok my mom thinks she's funny :P my hubby is from Scotland). Some day we'll all look back and have a laugh at ourselves. Do what keeps you sane for now, pray, blog, play solitaire, play WoW with your husband/wife (hey this has worked for us :P), utilise VJ, but never give up! Remember, at the bottom of the box, there was hope.

yeah! :crying:

we been through all the wait. the interviews, the security check clearances. but we been stuck in AP hell for going on 2 years.

I will be graduating soon - I cant even have my husband here for that. it would be nice to hope he would be here to see me graduate from college

but, I know he wont be here. seems all the precious moments are being train wrecked by the DOS and the Embassy. My emotions have been toyed with my dignity has been kicked in the teeth. I never know how to answer my husbands question " is it my fault I am pakistani? all I can ever tell him is No its not your fault- you had no choice in the matter. then we cry. :crying:

I miss my WIFE!!! She lives in a terrible world where 85% of women cannot find work, and go for prostitution! I have to send her a lot of money every month.

I can't even tell you how hard it's been on my wife and I. To have to return home to the USA right after getting married and then not be able to see each other at all for so many months is a terrible punishment I wouldn't wish upon anyone. Thank God for Skype so we can at least hear each other's voices every day.

I have to agree with the Skype thing my husband and I talk like that also every night and a little by phone. It really is hard and so fustrating cause these people don't realize or maybe don't care what they are doing to other peoples lives by taking so long. my son and I went to Egypt to visit my husband for 2 weeks and before that I haven't seen him since we got married back in March of 2006. Well I wish you the best luck and hope that your case goes alot faster then ours is.

I just don' understand why K1s are approved faster! It makes no sense to me!

My husband has dual citizenship with Canada and the US. He was born in the US but has lived in Canada for 30 years. We've been married for quite awhile. We have a 15 year old son.
