As the last line states, if you do not want them, you can edit your profile to reflect this.

I have been getting them too, as have many of us.

I am a June 17 filer.

I called USCIS this afternoon and was told that my case got transferred to the local office on April 9th while my online case status still remain the same where they said they received my case in June 17. The representative also said the all I751 applications always got transferred to the local office and the local office is always the one who approves these case.

Can I trust this representative? Sorry for my ignorance but i always thought it is the Service Centers who approves I751 applications.

Thanks!

The status of this service request is:

Recently, you contacted USCIS concerning your Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence (Form I-751) to inquire about your case.  Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Records show that your Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence (Form I-751) is still pending consideration at this time. I filed with VSC

The processing time at my local office is 21.5 to 46.5 months which means i could possibility wait for another 36 months (aka 3 years)!!!

This is ridiculous!!!

I am going to apply for N400 online. Does anyone know if USCIA will make me reapply for N400 if I751 petition doesn't get lifted up before the first N400 interview?

That person flat out lied to you.

Very, very few files get transferred to real local offices.  Those that are most typically are those selected for interview.  The vast majority of cases are settled at VSC and CSC.

It has been  told here several times that the message we all got about files transferred to local office only means files were moved from one location to another location within the service center.

The Tier 1 people (and maybe Tier 2 people) are apparently getting zero training before they start answering the phones.

But your file is not at an actual local office.  It is still at VSC.

However, when they receive your N400 . . . they will suspend evaluation of your I751 and put you at the back of the line for joint I751 N400 evaluation.

And yes, sometimes the N400 moves a little faster than the concurrent I751, so when you show up for N400 they send you back home to wait until I751 is finished.  It has been reported here.

We are often misled when told that we can apply for the N400 at X point in time.

Yes, that is true . . . but we are not aware that this doesn't mean anything will speed up, and more likely will slow down your case.

Complete waste of time for anyone to inquire about status based on message saying 'if you don't get something by X date, contact us.'

This message was created by computer with minimal human input.

You will simply get back a form letter telling you nothing new.

And likewise, this letter was created by computer with minimal human input.

Everyone needs to read quite a bit more here in various threads, particularly those for months prior to your filing month.  In that manner, you will find most answers to the questions you have, you can (hopefully) relax more, and not waste your time with useless contacts to USCIS.
