I was getting my hopes high, but after reading that user's comments, they said they received help from a senator before, twice, and I wonder if USCIS marked their case with top priority or something, hence the fast approval.

But still, I hope something good comes from all this mess.

Yes, maybe its time we all get our senators involved.

Apparently someone else got approved too.  Check the last page here....

Today, we received in the mail, an I-797 "Congratulations! Your request for the removal of the conditional basis of your permanent resident status has been approved.  You are deemed to be a Lawful Permanent Resident of the United States as of the date of your original admission or adjustment of status.  You should receive a new Permanent Resident Card ... within 60 days."

We were greatly surprised and didn't expect this for another 6-9 months.  The letter is dated Feb 28, and yet, the online status says that our case was transferred to our local office on March 4.  Seems backwards.

---------------

You can find it in the July 2017 filers thread.  Page 66.

Hmmm, Am I missing something? This person’s info make no sense to me.. He/she lives in Pennsylvania and the filing service center should be Vermont?! Thoughts?

One of these filers also filed for N-400. I read somewhere if you filed together it will adjudicated RoC.

If you read one of his posts, he actually have had mentioned that somehow his lawyer filed it at CSC. I don't know how often could happened like that and  the service center won't return your package.

Mine still says Received on February 26th.

I have a theory though 😄

When we were going through a K-1 process there was something similar on the consulate website. First it said case received on one date and later it changed to a later date and that was because first they received electronic case and later the actual paperwork came in the mail.

So can anybody check if your first case update is still showing in the case history? When you check on uscis website you can normally see the whole history- all case updates.

that makes perfect sense to me.

just like when one initiates shipping on with usps online,  that creates a shipping record, then it will update once the item was actually in the usps

Can you link me to that thread/person that got approved? I want to follow them.

Any CSC filer from 2017 being approved is crazy news.

For sure! I thought we all would be waiting for any kind of news/updates till at least June. Fingers crossed. Mine was changed from Feb 26th to March 4th so who knows...Someone on this this site said it takes them 4-8 weeks to "receive and review "

That does make sense...Fingers crossed that's not the case and we all are getting our answers within a month or two. Someone here said that a tier 2 rep said it takes 4-8 weeks to receive and review

It could take much longer if it is in a busy local office.

My sentiments exactly, hence my post about having a spreadsheet created to help figure these new approvals out.  Not just June 2017 filers but everyone as of late.  It would be interesting to know what the local office is and when they filed. I don't believe we can see approvals from local offices, only service centers.  Knowing this might provide some insight (read sense of peace and calm) to this new approval process.

Any takers to create a spreadsheet to follow this???

adjusters at csc and vsc mostly follow rules "nicely" since they adjust those cases all the time, but things could be much different in local offices.  some adjusters in one local office could follow the rules well,  other adjusters in other local office could be very rough... or even worse...
