Alright, now after the “Tools maintenance” my status changed

From:

Let's see what's gonna happen this week.

Mine still says Received on February 26th.

I have a theory though 😄

When we were going through a K-1 process there was something similar on the consulate website. First it said case received on one date and later it changed to a later date and that was because first they received electronic case and later the actual paperwork came in the mail.

So can anybody check if your first case update is still showing in the case history? When you check on uscis website you can normally see the whole history- all case updates.

Hmm, interesting thought! I think you are right .. I haven’t experienced that before with any forms before (I’m not a K1 filer though- and not sure what it is too)!

Can you link me to that thread/person that got approved? I want to follow them.

Any CSC filer from 2017 being approved is crazy news.

Today, we received in the mail, an I-797 "Congratulations! Your request for the removal of the conditional basis of your permanent resident status has been approved.  You are deemed to be a Lawful Permanent Resident of the United States as of the date of your original admission or adjustment of status.  You should receive a new Permanent Resident Card ... within 60 days."

We were greatly surprised and didn't expect this for another 6-9 months.  The letter is dated Feb 28, and yet, the online status says that our case was transferred to our local office on March 4.  Seems backwards.

You can find it in the July 2017 filers thread.  Page 66.

I was getting my hopes high, but after reading that user's comments, they said they received help from a senator before, twice, and I wonder if USCIS marked their case with top priority or something, hence the fast approval.

But still, I hope something good comes from all this mess.
