1: Submitted I-751.

2: Received NOA1.

3: Received Biometric Appointment Letter.

4: Biometric done.

What will the next step or I am missing any steps?

Lets say.. The next step should be Approval of your I-751 :)

If serious - you are not missing anything. Now - just wait. Hopefully, things will be moving faster.

Husband's NOA1 date was 7/25/2017. Haven't received Biometrics. Called yesterday and was told they would put in a request to schedule an appointment. Was told to call back if we haven't heard anything by October 12th

I'm guessing we're going to have to do the same thing. Our NOA1 was dated the first week of June and we've yet to get our bio notice. Tried an online request and that returned with a message that said we were placed in queue. That was almost a month ago and still no notice, so I guess it's time to call them and find out what's going on. Been trying to avoid calling for some reason.

Hi all

I have had my biometrics and now I'm just waiting. I wondered what are others doing over Xmas? I'm concerned about travelling back to my home country leaving my post box unattended incase we get a RFE interview come through. Also, if this came through we'd have to make emergency flights back to USA at at huge cost. I wish there was a way of letting immigration know I won't be home during those dates.

I might be mistaken, but according to USCIS current processing time it looks like our cases won't be touched till next Summer... At least, i wouldn't definitely worry about leaving for Christmas/New year holidays. That's  for sure.

I just wondered if they might send interviews through earlier than the expected summer processing times. It's so risky because if you miss those interviews you have to start over :S. Maybe we're able to get an idea of times from previous filers from last year?

I'll be traveling to Mexico in about a month, I'm not really worried about arriving to customs in the US, but worried more about before I board my plane in Mexico, what can I do if they don't recognize my letter?

Hi... I've just seen this, also about traveling to Mexico with an Extension Letter....

According to this thread, Mexico is having some troubles with recognizing a "combo" of Ext.Letter +an expired green card...

At the same time my best friend made it last year with no issues. Actually they have some, here, at St.Louis airport ;) which i can understand - they are not an International airport and don't  deal with this daily. After supervisor took a look at her 'combo" they were free to travel. But there were no problem in Mexico , at all...

*******HELP NEEDED:*************

My wife and I about to file the I-751, to remove conditions of my status (2 year green card). She has a daughter from a previous relationship that lives with us and is on our taxes, I am her step-dad (no legal documents were signed for this). Do I list her within Part 4? It says list "All Children", but she is a US citizen so I am not sure what to do here.

You dont have too since her daughter is a US citizen, all immigration beneficiaries are only for immigrants!

No, the girl doesn't have to be mentioned  - you need to list only that child/children, who is/are lifting conditions with a principal applicant.

But you will definitely have to list her on your N-400... when it's time :)

Good luck!!!!

Thanks for the response. I was just wondering if it makes any difference if I list her on the form and indicate that she is not applying with me. I asked this because some of our supporting evidence has her information on it. So I was just wondering what it would look like if I answered no and send our insurance cards with her name on it. I'd appreciate any help from the forum. Our lawyer is asking for money to fill out the form and quite frankly I'll rather want to use that money to pay the application fee.

If you have a straight case - you don't really need a lawyer at this point.... You, guys, are the only ones who collect the evidence and prepare I-751 package to be sent in. A lawyer will be just a "re-sender"  , for your expense... Why?...

VJ is very helpful community and has a lot of knowledgeable members who will be happy to help you :)

As for the girl...  That's fine that she is listed on some of your documents, no worries about that. A lot of us have kids or step kids, who are USC and obviously  they are mentioned on some paperwork as well. But still - USC kids don't have to be in Part.5 of your I-751. Only on N-400 and it stated clearly on its instruction, but not I-751.

Good luck!!
