I sent my papers in on 6/23/17. The NOA was issued on the 6/26 and I received it by Friday the 30th. Biometrics appointment was today. So what? 3 weeks....I think

I was going to ask exactly the same... I sent my papers on June, 30 and received the NOA issued on July, 3 and received it by July, 9. But I am still waiting for the Biometrics notice... I was a little worried because of the time, but reading your post, I hope it will be ok then :)

Thanks for sharing. But I don't see Bella1464's biometric receiving date there. We live in the same state.  As a matter of fact, I don't see any Indiana biometric data there

I received my NOA on July 9/10. I am a little worried because I have not received my Biometrics letter and according to the spread sheet, people who filed in California, received the letter after 12 days... :( Guess I need to call...

Is CR1 expiry date separate from Green card expiry date ?

In I-751 from Page 1 Item 14 :

Conditional Residency expire on (mm/dd/yyyy) :

Which date we have to fill :

The expiry date written in passport or expiry date written in Green Card ?

Ok, thank you. I just received my NOA1 today and hopefully, i will receive the biometric notice soon. Yeah, about a year waiting time..very painful.

You will receive it early next week, mark my word. It will be fast. Good luck to you! Let's hope that the whole process will be faster than a year for all of us ;) They need to change it back to what it was before, 6 months or something

Hi everyone,

i have quick question, my GC will expire in OCT 24,2017 can i file it this month? July 24?

Mine expires on the August 4th and I could apply anytime after May 4th...You can apply 90 prior to expiration so yes, July 24th marks that 90 day. DO IT! Good luck

I'm glad it helped! You will receive it really fast, trust me. Between sending it all in and biometrics it's all very quick. The real long ( ugh ) wait starts after that. Not sure why it's so long anymore, people say it's a year to get your GC  and I heard it's used to be like 6-8 months. Good luck to you in this long journey! Anticipation is killing me :D

Piano, could I know when did you receive your Biometrics letter? I received my NOA on July 10, but I am still waiting for the biometrics appointment. I have noticed that some members got it after 12 days...

On 07/05/2017, NOA1 received in the mail dated 06/26/2017 and i still didn't get my biometrics letter yet, is this normal? I called USCIS and they said if you haven't received the letter by 08/05/2017 then give them a call to put up a request.

My service center is Vermont by the way.

Since your NOA is July 10, I would suggest you also start following the July i-751 thread, if you haven't already, to see what the current processing times are:

June 8: NOA1 received, dated June 2

Hello, all! I've been reading through the forums and figured I would jump in. My NOA1 was dated June 8th and I still have not received a biometrics notice. I called USCIS today at +1 800-375-5283 pressed 1, then 2, then 2, then 2 <--- This got me talking to an actual person (don't bother looking your case up with the WAC number, it will say it's not valid and you'll keep going in circles). The representative opened a service request and told me I should be receiving the biometrics notice within 15 days, if not, I will need to call back and provide my service request number so they can look into it further. I hope this helps! Good luck to you all!

Hi, all. I still have not received my biometrics notice. I called USCIS and insisted they connect me with a Tier two agent, I chose the call back option (it took 4 hours to receive a call back, another 15mins of waiting while I was being connected to the agent). The agent said my service request wasn't actioned yet (and submitted under an incorrect category), the agent also mentioned it was "odd" that I haven't received my notice yet, and nothing has been scheduled. The agent submitted a new request and said I would receive a letter regarding the service request in 15 days.

That sucks,  I'm sorry.  Consider making an Infopass appt at the center where you would have your biometrics for immediately after the 15 days, so you least have something ready to go if the letter doesn't show.  You can always cancel it if the letter comes.

Thanks for the reply. I've been trying to schedule an infopass appointment for a while, every single day it says this: Currently, there are no available appointments. Please check again tomorrow. Please note: USCIS offices in the United States only show available appointments for the next 14 days. Check back tomorrow for new appointment times.

Maybe USCIS just doesn't require me to provide biometric information? I was reading the forums, this has happened in the past (trying to stay positive).
