Yeah, I agree. My local office is only 45 mins away and they are not slammed. I am sure it has been scheduled already and sent out, I just don't get why the letter hasn't arrived yet. I had a change of address some time ago. Maybe they sent it to my old address. Luckily my mail is still being forwarded to my new address and it just takes longer and that is my  only reason to stay more or less calm.

I guess I would just schedule an infopass at my local office if I don't receive anything 30 days after my NOA-1 date.

Did you receive USCIS "remainder" letter?..  Just wonder if you have something sent from them to your new address..

My reminder letter was sent to my old address and when I mailed out my docs for ROC I included printed out change of address form that I submitted electronically. My NOA-1 was sent to my new address. However I wouldn't be surprised if my local office somehow didn't get that info or didn't pay attention and sent my biometrics letter to the old address.

I also changed my address online (this was back in 2016) but my reminder and NOA1 was sent correctly to my new address, so there was no problem there.

I think they got your address changed in the system if NOA1 successfully found you at your new address, so the ACS Notice should be sent to your current address as well..

Once again - do hope your biometric appointment is on its way and you'll have it soon!!!

So it has been 30 days since your NOA-1 date seems like. Are you going to call them or schedule an infopass at your local office?

Well, people that sent in their documents after my date already got biometrics letters and I haven't. Making me worried. I don't want to miss my appointment because my letter didn't arrive on time. Any thoughts? Should I wait till it's officially 30 days since as their instructions say and then schedule an infopass?

That is odd. I filed after you and have already got my biometric appointment. Maybe you should call them to find out.

Me.

My reminder was sent to me, ( with the old address and forwarded to another old one and then finally got to our new one), in March and my early filing was actually on April 11. But I did not file until Mid-June because we were busy for other things. And I had address changed right after we moved in to a new address.

A reminder Notice is not something they are required to send... There are plenty of VJ folks, who have not gotten the Notice. So, that's fine if you didn't receive one.

Just to confirm: after i complete the fingerprints chances are that i will not get any communication from uscis or the 10 years greencard for an year? We are planning to go in a road trip for the next couple of months and although we are going to have somebody checking the mailbox we are hoping to not need to fly back or something. My case is in Vermont. Thanks all!

that's correct barring some extreme outlier. Having someone check the mailbox should be all you need in the off chance they contact you sooner, but it's highly unlikely. Vermont is doing June July 2016 filers atm.

June 8: NOA1 received, dated June 2

Hello, all! I've been reading through the forums and figured I would jump in. My NOA1 was dated June 8th and I still have not received a biometrics notice. I called USCIS today at +1 800-375-5283 pressed 1, then 2, then 2, then 2 <--- This got me talking to an actual person (don't bother looking your case up with the WAC number, it will say it's not valid and you'll keep going in circles). The representative opened a service request and told me I should be receiving the biometrics notice within 15 days, if not, I will need to call back and provide my service request number so they can look into it further. I hope this helps! Good luck to you all!
