Hello, we got our appointment letter yesterday 7/8 for an appointment on 7/18. Do I need to go with him? Does he need to take anything really other than his resident card? Sorry it's really early and I just saw this in the mail (I subscribed to the usps mail preview when I saw ya'll recommend it and didn't check the mail yesterday and happened to just look at my email on an early morning what time is it break) and had a wait I wasn't expecting this moment so I'm super confused.

just green card and the appointment letter

i originally filed June 5... Per USPS my package was delivered  to CSC in California.  however Saturday we received a rejected I 751 back,  due to the fact that it was missing the check and page 2 of the application.  The only thing sent back was the application,  none of the evidence was sent back none of the copies of documents were sent back and included in the paperwork it showed that the  package arrived at uscis in houston office and the envelope was hand written by a USPS employee, and a usps envelope.  Houston  uscis turns around and mails it to CSC.  of course CSC rejected it due to no check and no page 2.  I am not even sure that CSC  has any of the evidence that I sent to them or the photographs that I sent.

I am mailing a new package tomorrow and I have to include the rejected i-751.  this time however I have it a little bit more organized and this time I will add a signature confirmation to the delivery.

since I don't know if CSC has my evidence I am resending everything!

Actually, it takes CSC 10 months to process I-751, while takes VSC 11 months now, according to USCIS Processing time.

The information USCIS posted on June 29, 2017, as of April 30, 2017, CSC processed applications submitted on June 9, 2016; and VSC procssed applications submitted May 2, 2016

Yes, USCIS Processing Time information page shows "as of April 30, 2017" .And I believe there is no any up-dated information because they are still processing June 2016 ROC filers. And earlier filing as well.

You can take a look at I-751 June 2016 Filers (Merged Threads). According to their  spreadsheet only 13 CSC filers  from 71 got approval by the end of April, 2017, which is only 19%.
5 applicants - approved in May, 2017 , and so far - it's about 51% of June 2016 I-751 applicants approved. Looks like the most of them just started receiving their approval from late June - beginning of July 2017.

Besides, speaking with a Tier 2 immigration officer 2 weeks ago I was told that now, extending our conditional green cards for 1 year, they DO mean a year. Not 6,8 or 10 months any more like it used to be.

So, yes, actually,  it takes a year. Currently.

Seems like crymwest is a lucky one ;) According to our spreadsheet - this is the first bio metric appointment received for almost two weeks for CSC filers....

I'm in the same boat - leaving the country sometime in August, and the last thing I wanted to do is to miss my biometric appointment.. Fingers crossed things wil get "unfrozen" and we will have the appointment ..SOON :)

Ups... Just checked MyUSPS and it shows a letter from USCIS... I bet it's my Biometric Appointment..?? Will check at lunch time..

P.S.Well, there is still nothing for my son though - neither NOA1, nor biometric appointment...

Sometimes I think it would be easier just to submit a separate I-751 for a dependent.. Yes, we would pay more, but at least we wouldn't have all this worries and a dependent would have his own paperwork..

Hi everyone, i have question on removal of status for I-751 part 1 question 22. Where it says have you resided at any other address since you become permanent resident?

should i say yes? We lived from different town back in 2015 then we moved to my in laws address.

You are supposed to mention all addresses you resided since you received your conditional card.

yes... AR-11 - for you, on line form, and I-865 form  - for USC, via regular mail.

"U.S. Citizens who do not have an application or petition pending with USCIS are only legally required to notify USCIS of a change of address if they have previously submitted a Form I-864 on behalf of someone who has become a permanent resident. If you have previously submitted a Form I-864 for someone who immigrated to the U.S., you must complete a Form I-865 within thirty days of the completion of your move."
