Got my driver's license renewed today as well, valid til 2023. That's a load of too.

That's crazy!  You're not the first person who I have heard who had to renew their license due to such a short expiry date.  Mine was issued with a 2023 expiry.  Happy to not have to deal with that too.....but its crazy how states can be radically different.

Another question folks.

Double sided printing or single sided?

Although most of my documents are single sided....crunch time has me wanting to double side.  Save a tree and the pocket book....the stack is growing fast!

What are your thoughts?

Do single sided. They're going to scan these, so I don't know if their scanning machines are setup to to catch front and back and you may risk losing information.

This is from 2014, so maybe it's fixed now, but still:

"Stakeholders should be aware that our current intake system is not set up to process printing on both sides of the paper, thus applicants and petitioners should continue to print only on one side when sending correspondence to the VSC."

That said, now that I think about it, I think the tax transcripts I sent were doublesided since that is how they came to me...so we'll see.

Well, My friend and I live in the same State, MO, just in different towns. She got her DL , expired the same day as her conditional green card - I got "regular Missourian" Driver License", valid for 7 years, 2016-2023... So,seems like sometimes it can be radically different from DMV to DMV, despite the fact they are in the SAME State...

Same here :) I've sent Tax Transcripts double-sided...as originals were.. Actually, and the bank statements. Well, again - this is how the originals looked.

The Petition, I-751 - one sided, but the evidence - according to their originals.

I've read somewhere here, on VJ, that we are allowed to ptint both sides. And I know people who submitted even I-751  double-sided.. Got approval already ;)

I believe we should be fine.. and trees will be saved!!!! :)

Thanks for your replies, hcm and Ksenia_O!

you are welcome! :)

As i said I just tried to stay with "original look" - if originals were both-sides printed, copies were both-sided as well. If one sided - accordingly. The exemption - form I-751, one-sided. Green cards, debit/credit cards and Driver Licenses I printed  front and back on the same page.

Will see :)
