Our tiny package, :P:P:P

image.jpeg

Whew... I thought I am the only who has a tiny package. My husband said the same thing, it is about the quality and if the uscis believes we didn't send enough, we will just deal with the RFE.

Why are you so positive about that?....

To be honest I'm having troubles to understand why people so afraid of RFE... During my AOS, after 12 months of hearing NOTHING I was really excited to find a RFE letter in my mail box one day - to me it meant that somebody "alive" FINALLY got to my case. And that RFE was really easy , like it is for most people  due to the long wait - USCIS just wanted the most recent Tax Return and some vaccinations were already required by that time. That's it! My AOS got approved 4 weeks after I submitted RFE response

I think it doesn't matter you have "fat" or "thin" case for ROC... As it's been mentioned above - it's about quality, not a quantity. Besides, ROC is not a "priority" for USCIS, and  estimated time to get  approval is up to 10-12 months., sometimes even more.  I believe we ALL have a chance to  get an RFE  - at least, for the latest Tax Return or something. Maybe not and this is what I wish to everybody!!!
BUT :)  we keep collecting the evidence anyway, so RFE shouldn't be a big deal,  right? :)

As I said before, I've learnt that very often RFE means a good thing  - your case finally has been touched :)

P.S. Agree - kitchen is really nice :)

I understand what you are saying. I have told my spouse to just double down and not worry about it. His Employer was completely confused when my spouse showed them  the NOA1 letter of extension for their records.

I can see where this confusion is coming from... People don't really get the process if they are not "into ' this.. That's why I "zombie" my employer, saying time to time that my ROC won't change my status and i'll be still legal to work and etc.  :)

To be honest  -I'm not even going to present them my NOA1.. unless i'm asked , of course. But even then - they don't really need that. SS#,  I-9 verification, valid ID  - that's all they need

And you are right -we should just calm down.. And wait :) The only thing I would worry about - that my case is sitting some where, not being touched for months, collecting the dust..

But RFE?.. No, not worried at all  - if ROC takes that long, I wouldn't be surprised if they need some updated info.

Good luck to all of US!!!!

NOA1 received today, dated June 16th.

My packet was fairly thin as well - i just submitted quarterly bank statements for two accounts, and our warranty deed for a home purchase along with some travel and photographs. Something in the VJ AOS guide has always stuck with me, which is that the burden of proof lies with USCIS to prove that it is a fraudulent marriage, not on you to prove that it's not. If you know your marriage is genuine, and have a decent amount of documentation over the 2 years of so of your marriage, then i think that should be enough. I'm with everyone who said it's quality, not quantity. Having said that, of course, if you have the quantity of docs, you should obviously send them. In our case, we like to keep separate credit cards to track spending, and our state allows utilities in only one person's name. So i sent what we have.

Has anyone got their Biometrics Appointment?

We sent a few checking account, savings statements, Investments in both names, some boarding passes, photos with his and my family, Christmas Cards, Easter Cards in both our names, Wills of both of us, and three years tax returns. It was a four inch thick pile. All single print sheets....lots of trees...:-( I am assuming they recycle?

They dont recycle your documents or throw in the garbage for any excess documents, they will actually scan your documents and save it on the repository server on their end with your case alien number so they can easily track all the documents that you sent.

Lol, thank you for the compliment for the kitchen. I was going to get the documents only. But I didn't want to get our address and personal information on the picture. Instead I had get it from far distance.
