Hi all :) Packet is underway and scheduled to be delivered tomorrow or Friday. Here's what all I included in mine:

tax transcripts for 2015, 2016

Joint bank checking, credit card, and savings account statements (transaction pages for period since marriage)

Beneficiary information (health insurance policies, life insurances, retirement/investment accounts, HSA documentation)

other insurance policies, e.g. for vehicles; memberships (costco, amazon, etc.)

travel evidence (international trip to family); about 10 pictures from various points and times

(No mortgage or bills in both names as everything was setup already in spouses name, but everything is paid out of joint checking.)

All in all it was about 1.15 lbs to mail.

Goodluck to us!! Did you include an explanation as to why no bills are both in your names?

@PauPauNot directly, I just explained and showed that all mortgage, bills etc. are payed out the joint account. My state is also a community property state. I did include pictures of our drivers licenses showing same address though.

I'm interested to know too! My window opens on 6/10/17 so I am planning on sending my packet on that day. I don't know how they calculate what is too early and I don't want to be rejected just because I filed a day early. But let's see what others say...

the same here - my earliest date is 06/12/2017. So, the ROC package will sent THAT day :) For now - getting ready.

Good luck to everyone!!! :

If you guys dont want RFE then again IRS transcript is more valid documents since it comes from the IRS itself, documents can be falsified but if the document comes from the valid institution then its legit. Better to be assured than sorry. This is what also i read from this blog that people got an RFE because of non submissions of IRS transcript.

Absolutely agree. And it really doesn't take that long to get transcripts for past 3 years. On-line they are available immediately after you signed up - you just have to provide more info to have your transcripts on-line,

And it takes about 7-10 days to get them via regular mail. Mine arrived on day 6.

I send color photocopies of my pictures. I would also suggest getting IRS transcripts. It's the preferred method,  it's official, it's fast  (you can download them online if you have a cell phone out something,  I forget), and it's a lot less paper.

Same here. Mine arrived sooner than 10 days. But what I like more is that the requesting process is not hard at all. You just need to provide the SSN and in what years you need it to. Since the documents came from IRS, I reckon the USCIS examiners are very familiar with it and they know exactly which part of the document they need to look into.

Hi again everyone! I'm almost complete with packet except for one important document. The townhouse that we are renting is owned by my husband's cousin so when I moved in, we didn't sign any lease agreement. Everything is just verbal. She agreed to sign one and so I'm planning on printing a lease agreement from the internet. Do you think this is fine and do I need it to be notarized? I'm not sure how this stuff works. Thank you all!!

@PauPau Its better if you have it notarized so it can be legit.

Hi all. It's that time again for all of us. Good luck everyone. I'm sending our pack off on 12th June.

Can anyone tell me for utility bills do you add just the front page with the bill amount and names/address or do you think they will want to see the whole bill with all the electric readings etc. My packs getting so big don't want to send unnecessary paperwork.

Is anyone on here in the same situation as us..... where they have been married but had to spend time apart while their green card was approved. My husband and I were married Oct 2014 but then he left for a job in the USA and I had to hang back in the UK until I had the green card (Sep 2015). We are a little worried because we only have shared bank statements, money transfers and PayPal transactions from that time apart. We have lived together in the USA since Sep 2015 and have evidence of that.

Thanks all
