June filer reporting in.  Mailed my package on June 9th (to VSC), they received June 12, and I just received the NOA today.   Anyone know how long it takes to get the biometrics appointment letter?

From what I've seen on "May 2017 ROC filers" thread - it takes about a month from NOA1  to get biometric appointment for VSC filers

Just sent my package and was so relieved to get it done. Then my hubby and I realised no-one will be there tomorrow to sign for it.... don't know what will happen now :S. Did anyone else sends theirs on a Friday to be accepted on a Saturday?

I sent it priority express

Aww thanks, it took long enough, I feel like I need some relaxing time now. My covers (like your ones) didn't come in time but I managed to take the covers off our old tax returns to use

Lets pray someone is there tomorrow to sign for them . Did you send yours to be signed for too?

Does the NOA-1  extend your USA residency for a year from the date of your green card expiration or a year from the date you mailed your I751?

NOA-1 extends your conditional residency for a year from the date of your green card expiration.

Check out page 38 of this document: https://www.cbp.gov/sites/default/files/documents/Carrier Information Guide- English.pdf

"Notice of Action A

Conditional Resident with an expired Resident card (with a two-year expiration date) may be boarded if also in possession of a Notice of Action (Form I-797). The Notice of Action extends the validity of the card for a specified length of time, generally one year. The “Receipt Date” of the form has no effect on the validity of the card. A passport is not required."

I am so sorry but I am not sure what to advise  Have you started a new thread to ask other members? Someone who has experienced the same thing may be able to advise. I'm hoping you'll get an update soon!!

Thanks Pau Pau. Hopefully then we should all have our 10yr green cards before our NOA1 expires. Well we can hope 😂

I think if I was in your position I would call USCIS and double check they have definitely received it. Did you send it signed for? Even if it got there maybe its been misplaced. Best to ask for peace of mind. Try not to worry :)
