After 509 days of waiting I just received confirmation that our case was approved and a card is being produced!

Our journey was in fact a LONG one full of ups and downs.  More mentally than anything else.  Watching others before and after you getting approved and your case not being touched.  Well lo and behold the journey is about to come to an end.  Now we will just wait for the card to arrive.  Thank you baby Jesus!

6/1/2017 - Filed ROC - 6/1/2017

8/2/2018 - Received one year extension stamp at local office.

8/20/2018 - Received 18 month extension letter from USCIS which did me no good.

10-23-2018 - Email that card being produced.

Like everyone else in the forum says, be patient and your time will come to get approved.

This forum has been amazing at helping me through the process.  So for that THANK YOU!!!

Did you receive your card yet ?

ANYBODY EXPERIENCE THIS? I have a I-751 Removal of Conditions Pending since JUNE 2017. I JUST PASSED MY US CITIZENSHIP INTERVIEW TODAY. THEN WHEN I GOT HOME I CHECKED MY CASE STATUS AND IT WAS CHANGED TO THIS. I'm stressing out. The Newark officer said she doesn't handle the I751 papers thats why she cant help me with a combo interview. Please help me. I'm so worried.

She didn't 😭 I was expecting for a combo interview so I brought all my documents but she didn't even ask me for anything, only the N400 interview related questions, my ID and GC. But to entertain questions and help me out.. she didn't.. I feel like other people here are very lucky that they've been helped by an understanding IO's who cares about our situation. She seems nice but maybe just lacking in caring for us.

Those of you VSC filers for June 2017 who have not yet received 10 year Green Card are officially  "Outside Normal Processing Time."

https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/home

You can now officially file to inquire about the status of your case.

For those who have filed this 'Inquiry' before, what is the typical response and result?

Now, as I seem to recall from those who have posted before . . . 10 year Green Card usually comes 7-10 days after 'new card being produced' notification received.

Is that correct ?

Hi All, CSC filer WAC17258  I-751 finally approved yesterday! My case was transferred to local field office (Milwaukee, WI) following my N-400 interview. It was not a combo interview as such, but the IO commented that the I-751 was still pending and so she could not fully complete the N-400 process, but that she would have the case transferred to her jurisdiction and approve it before finalizing the N-400. It took about a week total between the N-400 interview and receiving notification that the I-751 case was transferred and then approved.

The IO did say she would probably 'cancel' the 10-yr GC production since the Naturalization oath ceremony would likely be scheduled before then and I wouldn't need it. I still have my expired 2-yr conditional GC.

Yay! Congrats! I applied my I-751 in july 2017, and they told me they can use biometrics i have on file, then dec 22, my case was transferred to national benefits center, i dont know what it means, i’m hoping it’s a good thing. As for my N-400 i did my biometrics in milwaukee in sept 2018. I’m still waiting for my application to get approved my 18months extension will expire in april. I hope to get my 10yr green card before my extension expires. Congrats to you!

Hii!

Firstly wanted to say congratulations to everyone who got their I751 or N400 approved!!! 😃😊

I was just wondering if any June 2017 filers are still waiting for approval?

I filed jointly and am now at over 19months and getting fidgety as the June 2017 filers I know have been approved so just wanted to see if anyone else was waiting too :) Filed jointly at CSC and didn't file N400 planning to after I hopefully get approved.

My dates are:

Filed May 2017

Got my NOA/12month Extension June 2nd, 2017

Biometrics June 26th, 2017

InfoPass appointment May 30th, 2018 - Received I551 Passport Stamp that expires May 29th, 2019

July 2018 Received an NOA letter extending my 12month extension to 18months, which expired January 9th, 2019 but I have the stamp.

RFE October 2nd 2018

RFE Response sent out December 6th 2018

RFE Response received December 10th, 2018

Its been a little over a month since they received it so I doubt anything will happen for another month or 2, though on March 2nd, 2019 I will be at 21months which is the current Max time for the California center.

Anyway just wanted to settle my nerves and see if anyone is still waiting or received an RFE and sent it out and is still waiting or could tell me how long it was until they heard anything :)

Thank you in advance
