Thanks, we plan to submit at the beginning of November when we have all the new paperwork together.  Is the RFE somewhat common? We were a bit panicked when we got it

Don't panic :) RFEs happen,  it all depends on the IO, reviewing your case.

We had an RFE during AOS. The case was pending for over a year till someone "alive" finally got to our stuff.

Of course, by that time medical exam was already expired and they wanted a new one, along with the most recent Tax Return.

Were we upset? Definitely. We filled everything on time, so why did we have to pay AGAIN for another medical? - it was not our fault it took them so long to get to our case...

So I completely understand how you feel. Really sorry you are dealing with RFE now.

But we are at their mercy.

I'm positive you will have your approval very soon after RFe response submission.

Good luck!!!

They said it was insufficient because "Sufficient financial records showing joint ownership of assets and joint responsibility for liabilities for the duration of the conditional residency period, including ...etc etc... were not submitted."

However, we did have joint savings, our joint car loan, and our joint lease included in the original submission among many other things, so I'm not sure why it was deemed insufficient.  Luckily we have more loans and savings since mid-2017 that we can submit, along with more utility bills and stuff in both of our names, plus a new life insurance policy and retirement account, and of course new taxes.  I hope that's enough, otherwise not sure what we can do!

I hope you get your approval soon. You have submitted a lot of evidence.

How many months of your savings and checking did you submit? It’s good to show statements from the entirety of your marriage. Maybe if you only submitted 1 or 2 of the most recent that could be why?

492 days waiting.

EAC17257

I can do outside normal time inquiry in 6 days, as my case is June 13, 2017

Didn’t file N-400 and also haven’t gotten a RFE.

Last update was: August 28, transferred to MO National Center.

Been married 4 years got tons of evidence, plus the AOS interview was literally 10 minutes he didn’t even interview us.

As soon as he saw that I’m from Sweden and how high paid my job was he approved me right there on the spot. He didn’t even ask us any questions about our marriage.

He seemed more interested in my career and why a Swedish person would want to move to NYC lol when we got all benefits covered back home in Sweden.

He actually confessed at the interview that if I was Mexican or from Middle East then the interview would be much much stricter but because I’m from Sweden and he’s only had a dozen Swedes in all his time there he just approved it.

Can anyone who’s good with the tracker try to run: EAC17257 and help give me accurate % on cases approved and how many are left?

I’d appreciate that a lot, thanks.

I can try to take a bite at it. I'm not familiar with EAC cases in the app, I only run WACs but I think I can run one EAC day, it just might take me a bit. I'll be going on lunch break in 3 hours, so if you give me till then, I might be able to help

My situation is pretty similar... (great interview, years together)
I am looking forward to see how your outside of normal pr time will go bc I am not really expecting any moves earlier than 17 months already. Also, I have an info pass apt on Monday so I can ask the officer what's up with MO case transfers... Staying in touch

Hang in there.

Are you checking on the app for updates?

Many July 2017 filers from CSC have been approved and most recently someone who's case was transferred to Texas,  got an RFE.  You might be outside of normal processing times, if so, you should call.  I'm not certain of your dates, so you'll want to look that up before you call to inquire.

Your approval should come soon!

If you use that case tracker app there are still applications ahead of mine (WAC17257) that haven't been approved and a lot of cases behind my number that have been approved. So I think it's somewhat random? Hold on tight maybe you number will come up shortly!
