I am not sure but he said usually with someone traveled a lot could take a while but they will approve you at the end you might see your approval within the next two up to three weeks!

Does your crystal ball have insights on July filers?  No kids, average travel to one country only?

My case is super straight forward, 4 years happily married.

we are july 2017 filers and we filed a service request and as our signature show we were approved. im not sure 100% that this moved things along but it couldn’t hurt. we logged into “my cases” then filed the request for out of normal processing time

Well after the case was approved.  We got an update that the card was produced.  Another notice that the card was mailed, then a notice that the green card arrived.  Both my green card and official approval letter arrived in the mail today!  (only 2 days after approval notice)  YAY!!  😍  It's hard to wait for all of us, and quite the process we've all gone, or are going through.   We've learnt a lot along the way!  They are going through the June 2017 ROC filers.  It'll be your turn soon.  Thanks to everyone on here who offer great advice and helped guide us through.  We couldn't have done it without the support system in place here.  Again, Thank-you all.

I’ll just wait 11 days more and then I’ll file that.

We filed a service request because our case was outside of normal processing time. We filed roc in july of 2017. Within a few days of uscis closing our service request, we were approved and card is being produced. Everyone can file a service request if their case is outside of normal processing time.

I am on the same boat He just told me that and he said it is just what they told him he had worked with them but for sure no one knows it is just a general thought!

What he said that they took longer when the person been travelling so much to get the background check done and If no kids they need to look at the other proves of the marriage and he said at the end of the story most cases will get approve If they all have a real marriage and their documents are in good shape!

Agree, processing time for VT is up to 17 months

For I-751(VSC) - receipt date of June 02, 2017 is outside of normal processing time. 

 

July is still within the normal processing time.

So, after waiting over 480 days, we finally got a response from USCIS - they are Requesting Further Evidence, which must be received by mid-December.  This really took us by surprise since our case seems super easy: we've lived together for over 11 years (outside of the US most of the time), and have been married and living together in the US for about 4 years now.  For the initial green card in 2015, they didn't even require us to interview.  We submitted practically everything we had, so not sure what else they need to see.  We do NOT have kids, which I wonder if that is why we got the RFE?  There's not much we can do about that though before December

 

Anyway, how concerned should we be about this RFE?  Obviously our finances have changed a bit in 480 days, so there is a bit more we can submit, but I'm concerned if it's still not enough.
