Just jumping in to say that I did write N/A and did not leave any blank spaces. I wrote None to the children part since we don't have any children. Here's what's in the instructions:

3. Answer all questions fully and accurately. If a question does not apply to you (for example, if you have never been married and the question asks “Provide the name of your current spouse”), type or print “N/A,” unless otherwise directed. If your answer to a question which requires a numeric response is zero or none (for example, “How many children do you have” or “How many times have you departed the United States”), type or print “None,” unless otherwise directed.

Thank you, PauPau. I did that when possible because the format sometimes does not accept slash.

MeikaLioness,

I wouldn't stress at all.  Based on the dates you gave, you should be receiving that letter tomorrow or the next day.  Again, I wouldn't stress.

Thanks jrwh1177. But still nothing up till today. Hopefully before next week. What's the average wait time for the NOA-1?

Guys, about Part 8 (page 8) "Acknowledgement of Appointment..." the spouse need to write his/her name? Filling the form, my name appeared automatically. What did you do?

Thank you very much!

Yes, the form automatically fills in the information based on the spouse details that you've provided. You don't need to write the name, just leave it as it is but don't forget to sign where signature is required.

That's right! The form does not accept slash so I had to manually write N/A :( My form is not as pretty as I would have liked LOL

I found this link in another thread where a member asked which date counts in the filing. Good info directly from USCIS!!

https://www.uscis.gov/ilink/docView/AFM/HTML/AFM/0-0-0-1/0-0-0-1067/0-0-0-1095.html

(1)     Open In-coming Mail; Deposit Fees     .

Since in-coming mail often contains fees, the in-coming mail room is a secure area, with access limited to specified personnel. Mail should be opened the same day it is received. When this is not possible, arrangements must be made to record the actual date on which the mail is received from the post office or private courier so that the receipt date can later be recorded on the application or petition itself. The receipt date is important to ensure fair, chronological processing and to enable efficient case tracking. Most importantly, the receipt date may be critically important in determining an applicant’s legal eligibility for a particular benefit. It is important that all mail be opened; fees removed, logged and deposited; and initial data entry completed as soon as possible.

Does the NOA-1  extend your USA residency for a year from the date of your green card expiration or a year from the date you mailed your I751?

Also, I've seen these cases can take over a year to complete so what's the next step if your NOA-1 expires before you have your 10yr green card?

Sending my pack tomorrow really wanted it to go on the 12th but I had some bits to finish :D

Thanks all

If I was in your position I would call the Laguna Niguel post office and ask what's happening. You paid for a express priority service and they have not provided that service for you. If they still have not sent your package I would ask them to send it immediately and ask for compensation. If they say its been sent I would call USCIS see if they have it.

I'm sending express priority too and its going to cost about $50 so I expect it to be there the next day in perfect condition if not I'll be onto them :D

Yeah you sent it best postage they had so should have arrived Tuesday. Hopefully its just that the tracking hasn't been updated this happened to me once before.

I was guessing mine was going to be $50 but might be closer to the price you paid as my packs about the same size as yours, used the same dividers too :D

Let us know what they say
