Hi, we just got approved, and yes we received a courtesy letter for the 18-month extension.. I just hope and pray they would send the card to our address and not to whoever they sent our official letter before..

Hi HunNee,

Can you elaborate on the extension letter mishap.  It would be nice to know....

Mine was incorrectly labeled and sent to me with the address line being my name, hence it was undeliverable.  USPS caught the error and sent it back.  USCIS then sent out another mailing with the correct address then requested I apply for a change of address, which I did but hadn't moved.  Turns out the SUP I spoke with said there was no address on file......yah, right!

Thanks!

Hey guys, great news here, I got my approval letter today (with a different receipt number, but eh - it still doesn't show that I was approved online with either of them!!)

NOA date was 7/3/17, and they received on 6/29, and case no started with WAC1727. Congrats to all those recently approved too :D

Congratulations on your approval !!! Don’t worry you will be receiving the gc. Apparently they send courtesy copies out of the blue even if you didn’t have an attorney. Once again congrats!!!!

I'm trusting God I’ll get approved soon. 🙏🙏

Am really not sure what really happened -- because we never had an attorney to represent us.. We did not receive the "official notice" for the 18-month extension, instead, we just received a "courtesy copy", which means they sent the original to the attorney that "supposedly" represented us -- but we never did!!! Anyway, so i was worried there for a while, but after reading some comments from our June Filers who had the same story, i stopped worrying and eventually forgot about it until today when we received a text with our approval 😊

It was probably a mistake on their part, good thing you gave them your address.. It should be on file already, so you should not worry 😊 as long as their system works lol

Like some others here, receiving my GC was not without incident.  The tracking showed it to be delivered on the morning of the 18th of September, so I had C head down to the mailbox to grab it.  Well.. it never arrived.  To make a very long story short..  The mail carrier bundled my Green Card with the mail to go to a nearby Immigration Lawyer, who then attempted to deliver it back to me, but I missed the call from the call box of our building. He then took it to the Post Office, which put it back into circulation, and it finally arrived on Friday, September 21st.

Nothing like a nail-biter to finish off the process.

- R

Congratulations.  It amazes me how many times there are problems - sometimes small, sometimes not, in getting to the finish line in this process.  At least you can now relax!!

So on September 21, my status changed to the GC being dropped off with USPS. USPS tracking says the card will be delivered today. I did an InfoPass and the officer said more RoC applications are getting interviews, but she didn't elaborate if those are the cases in which the applicants also filed N400. From what I was told, N400 requires an interview and when you file N400, USCIS will combine the two applications. I did not file N400, and RoC was granted without an interview. Good luck all.

Congratulations too!   I wonder how they determine if they will conduct an interview.  It seems random.  But you are good to go!  yeah

Completely different. It's entirely possible that they gave a different number after my Noa and I somehow missed it... I wouldn't be surprised 😁

I have the same situation! I'm CSC WAC17266 and filed for N400 also! I was thinking the same thing. If that's the case we probably have to wait longer.

Same here. numbers around mine have been transferred to new office that has jurisdiction on. Mine still says received at local office. N400 interview in 2 week.
