Hey guys, I'm just joining the thread! - I mailed my ROC at the end of May 2017 and it was received  by the California Center on early June, 2017. - I hadn't heard anything until this last Friday when I got a notification on MyUSCIS stating that they sent me a document that was returned by USPS and they would destroy it if I didn't request/update my address. At the same minute I also had another notification that the document was sent to me (?). - I've been agonizing trying to figure out what this document is. I tried to get ahold of tier 2 reps at USCIS and I get placed on this "Call Back" log. I've been added to this call back log around 5 times in the last few days and  I never received a call back!

What's the best way to get in contact with a tier 2 rep!? I'm getting desperate! :) - Thanks!

My wife just got her approval letter!! No status change yet on the USCIS website though. But regardless, finally!!!

Congratulations.  You are about 1 week ahead of us.  I hope we get something soon.  Can you tell us the first part of your CSC number?  It should be something like WAC172x.  Thanks!

Congratulations to KKjiang too!   How nice to have the card in your hand!!

Unfortunately I have never tried to get in contact with a tier 2 rep but others have tried with varying success.   I suspect that the document is an 18 month extension notice but I am just guessing.  I remember someone saying that the best time to call is as soon as the office opens.  Good luck!

Hi everyone! I received a letter in the mail today that we are scheduled for interview for I-751 in October. I already received my 18 month extension letter and prior to that, this is the only update I have  in my case since filing in June 2017. I never received biometrics appointment, RFE, or whatsoever.

In June 2018, I also applied N400 for naturalization. Is there anyone here that is in the same boat as me? Is there a chance that they will do a combo interview for I-751 and N400?

Is the N400 interview the civics test?

I believe so! I'm wondering if it's possible to request a combo interview for both cases.

I have to study for the test, I heard the oral test has very complex questions and that officer (s) usually expect a very detailed answers.

For the naturalization? Not really. Just practice from the guide and the app. As for the names, look it up on the internet for your governor, senator and representative. I say 2-4 weeks of practice should suffice.

Thank you! I was concerned about the civics test being difficult. Lol.

There are 100 questions that you will be asked between 6-10 from. 6 if you answer all 6 correctly, up to 10 if you mess up on 4.  Basically 6 is the required pass limit.

It is mainly a lot of common sense and public knowledge like Native american tribes, who was the president in WWII, why immigrants came to America originally and such.

See this link for the practice detaisl. You can also download the USCIS phone app for the civics test. It helps with practice.

Do it during lunch, whole waiting in line,...etc.  and before you know it, you will have most of the questions down.

Hello friends,

We had submitted our ROC I-751 on June 15 and received NOA1 on July 5. We are still waiting for our biometrics to come in. We called on Sep 10th the 800 number to find out any details. The representative informed us that Biomatrics can take up to 120 days to arrive, if true, we should be getting the appointment set up by end of October. We wanted to travel to see our family but are concerned that biometrics will come in while we are abroad. So we have been postponing our trip.

From what i have seen it appears the normal time frame is about 30 days from submission of I751 to receive the biometrics. We are a little concerned, as we do not see any updates to our case since submission.

Does any one else experience delays for biometrics that has applied around Jun 2018 time frame?

Best Regards.
