Does the extension letter come with two pages usually?

If it is the 18 months?  Is this a bad or good thing?

I hope its an approval letter. 18 months extension would be highly unlikely from vermont since they are processing faster than california. no communication from USCIS is a bad thing. this is good for you :) tells you that they are working on your case.

Man This mailman does not come yet and I have now blood pressure with so much anxiety. Is the approval letter could come with two pages? Has anyone put something similar before so at least I can get some breath.

Approval letter is 1 page. This is an extension letter. You will see that your original extension letter also has the background image.

Thanks is this a bad thing for Vermont? Is that mean my case will take longer than usual?

definitely not a bad thing. but not a good thing either. Since they are extending your extension letter by 6 more months.. potentially they can take 6 more months to process your case. but that is unlikely i believe. you are VSC and a june filer. I think you should be hearing from them shortly.

New Extension Letter should be 24 months -  since current processing time up to 21 months, in some cases  up to 2+ years. Would make more sense and give those who still have their green cards some  peace in mind...

Just thoughts  :)

So this thing now turns out to be a usual thing that they extend the letter while they are processing the case.

They need to use more of technology. we all know how inefficient some parts of government can be. and yes, they should send the letter with 2 years extension period. It is very difficult to get infopass appointments in many cities.

This is what happens when people are not smart enough to compete for jobs in the private sector. They apply for government jobs which leads to an abundance of underskilled people working for government agencies who cannot perform basic tasks such as processing paperwork which causes delays in all areas of government which is why nothing ever gets done. Processing our immigration applications .. and more specifically these I-751's is a prime example of that.

I think you should calm down, respectfully, and await the letter in your mailbox so you know exactly what you are dealing with. I think everyone on here would be excited/anxious to receive a letter from USCIS today- at least that means progress.

I'm so sorry.... My EAD was sent to my old address during AOS,  despite the fact we both, my husband and I, had confirmations for AR-11 & I-865 forms and USCIS website  stated they received our change of address submission...  So i get how you feel.....  It will be strengthen up, I'm sure, and you will have you card in the mail box.

P.S. Such a mess...... :(

Thank you. I was worried that it might happen, so it wasn't such a surprise, but it is still frustrating. Now our celebration dinner is postponed for an uncertain amount of time 😅

Now since I have a game plan I just hope they will send it back to USCIS right away. Fingers crossed 🤞

I am not sure where you are from but having a governmental job is extremely hard to come by and does require tons of experience and education. I’d love to have a government job...and I have two degrees.
