The one from the AOS period. Hmmm I think that is really unnecessary. I just saw that in one of the sample lists here and photocopied mine so I included it but I think the green card should be enough.

Hello, Ksenia. When filling your I-751, did you leave in blank all spaces not applicable? I mean, if you are not using a translator or preparer or there are no children, for instance... or did you write N/A?

Thanks again!!

Well,  I didn't send my package yet, and  for now  I just left in blank  space not applicable. I did the same for AOS, besides - a sample here, on VJ, with blank boxes  as well.

At the same time PauPau is right, because this is what I-751 instruction says - to put N/A if not applicable..

So, honestly, this question still bothers me.   Would be really great to hear from others  their opinion and how they did go about that - blank or N/A in EACH 000 not applicable box...???

@Ksenia_O @Ruany put N/A for the fields that are not applicable to you and put NONE for the fields that requires numbers like A number for children if you dont have children.

Hope this helps

Alright, guys... There is another question :) CHECK!!

My husband is disagree with sending a PERSONAL check - he  believes it can cause some delay because needs to be "cleared" or something, and he thinks  it must be cashier's check or Money order ...Because it's already "cleared" and money is "there"  -etc.

But I would send a personal check - in this case I could track it, wright? .. i would like to see WHEN it was cashed.. What do you, guys, think?....

@Ksenia_O I'm not sure how money order works though but one of the member here is having a hard time to track if the check was cashed out or not. She used the money order from the USPS. I highly recommend to send personal check so you can track if USCIS cashed out your check. I use our joint account checking account and USCIS cashed out our check with no problem after 5 days they received my application.

Thank you!!

Well, I  kinda started enjoying the fact that my bank is taking it's time with sending our last bank statement and i'm experiencing some delay with mailing my ROC - learning new things I could've missed if sent my package two days ego :)

That's what i am tending to - to sens a personal check. First, yes, I could track it and see when it was cashed. The second - it has both our names on it, address - so it could be "one more little thing" to our ROC evidences :)

Thanks again, Lemon23!!!

Really appreciate your help!

@Ksenia_O Yes, its a big advantage if has your name and spouse name, it's an indication that both of you participated for the payment of your application. That's what I did when I sent my application a month ago, both of our names on it with address on our joint checking account.

That's true :)

have you been already called for biometric?.. Just wondering how long it could take - from submission to biometric appointment..  I'm planning to travel to Ukraine, in August.. Trying to figure out when i should start thinking about buying the tickets.

@Ksenia_O My NOA date was May 15 and I havent gotten my biometrics appointment, i'm hoping this week. If you're CSC filing location then less than a month you will get your biometrics appointment a week or two after your NOA date based on what I read from CSC filers, but if you're VSC filing location then it takes a month before you will get your biometrics appointment. VSC is slower in processing the ROC.

Mailed my completed I-751 yesterday, scheduled to arrive tomorrow.

In my signature style I forgot to comply with one of the instructions - the one where it says if a question does not apply to me, I should write NONE or N/A. I guess I will find out soon if that is a big deal or not. Good luck everyone!

As for the I-751 fee.  Neither my husband nor I are cheque users and therefore have not ordered new cheques to reflect both of us as account holders.  We plan to send in a cheque to pay the fee.  Do you think this matters much?
