Make a copy of your green card and Extension Letter - it might be taken by USCIS officece (depends on an IO and local office) and you never know it they gonna keep it until you are there, at your Infopass.

yes, I have already done that. Thank you

you can get all those info from the case tracker app,  even though uscis doesnt really keep information updated, it seems

Where is this case tracker app? is this put out by USCIS as an official government app or a third party deal?

I would like to see some stats .

Any help appreciated.

It's their app. I discovered it by going on USCIS site from my phone and it gave me the option of downloading their app, which I did, but there are no updates on my case..don't really care about checking other things on in that app...Kuddos to the ones that do and share it with us~

Hi guys,

I’m starting to get pretty inpatient with the waiting game here! It’s been exactly a year now :-/

So, I was having a trouble with the DMV to get a new DL because here in GA (at least my county) it seems like they go by the date on the extension letter (June 14) and not the GC date (September 11) which is pretty ridiculous! I talked to 3 officers and they were like “Ma’am we are trained on this we go by the date on the letter” so my lawyer tried to get me an infopass appt but it was completely full then he suggested that since I live 8 minutes away from the field office then maybe I should try to schedule an appt using the kiosks that they have at the security checkpoint, I went the next day and tried it and it was unsuccessful so the security officer was like you should try online between 12 am - 3 am he was like your not gonna find any empty slot during the day! I explained how we have been trying at different times including 3 am with no success, luckily he was so kind to let me in with no appt, I checked-in then saw an officer and told him I’m gonna be out of DL which is really tough he was super friendly and understanding, but he told me before stamping that the moment they put the stamp they get to keep the GC! So i was like sure as long as you have to and I need this extension! So I got it and I was able to get DL same day!

As of June 11, 2018, petitioners who file Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, or Form I-829, Petition by Entrepreneur to Remove Conditions on Permanent Resident Status, will receive a Form I-797 receipt notice that can be presented with their Form I-551, Permanent Resident Card, as evidence of continued status for 18 months past the expiration date on their Permanent Resident Card.

We are making the change from 12 to 18 months because current processing times for Form I-751 and Form I-829 have increased over the past year.

Additionally, we will issue new Form I-797 receipt notices to eligible conditional permanent residents whose Form I-751 or I-829 was still pending as of June 11, 2018. Those Form I-797 receipt notices will also serve as evidence of continued status for 18 months past the expiration date on petitioner’s Permanent Resident Card.

As a reminder, conditional permanent residents who plan to be outside of the United States for a year or more should apply for a reentry permit by filing Form I-131, Application for Travel Document, before leaving the country. Read more information on our Green Card webpage.

Hi, so does it mean that we will receive a new receipt notice that will serve as another extension letter??  since our case is still pending?? Or do i just get an infopass right away?? which by the way, can i still do the infopass  even if my extension letter expires June 15?? i totally forgot about it, maybe i was hoping to get results before the expiration..

There is no 'app' downloadable from applestore or google play or anything. what you are referring to appears to be the 'myCase' website on mobile phone.

Do you have a screenshot or link to the mysterious 'app'?
