Quick question. Do the photos for the fiance visa interview need to have our names and dates just like they did for the petition ? My fiance swears this isnt necessary but I think it is necessary to write our names and dates together on the back of all the photos.  I mean it certainly couldnt hurt and be as thorough as possible.

Thanks,

Marko

Hi! I just had my interview yesterday and I brought an album full of our photos...but the CO never asked for it!!

So it isn't really necessary but if you want to remember exactly when and where it was taken if asked during your interview, you can definitely put it at the back. Never hurts to be always ready! :D

audacieux89,

You said they told you you would get the visa in 2 weeks. My Fiance had his interview in another country on May 11th. They told him it was approved and he would get it in 2 weeks too. It has been over 2 weeks now, he contacted the embassy and they said his case is under administrative processing. Which does not make sense since they did not give him a 221g paper and they clearly said his visa was approved and he would get his passport in 7-10 business days. Now we are worried, can you keep us updated if you actually get the passport in 2 weeks.

Hi there,

I recently went for the interview and luckily i passed it yay!!

Well, while sending the package i had sent the photos which were signed and dated at the back, but when i went for the interview, i was asked to submit two passport sized photos which WERE NOT SIGNED AND DATED AT THE BACK and all went well i wasnt told to do so but if you any doubts always ask to the person you submitting because he will call you at the different counter and he wont be the same to interview you.

cheers,

ragini
