My daughter has been in France for nearly three years now. She is a legal resident green card holder. She had filed for travel document to be able to maintain her green card status. Her document is expiring in February 2018 but she has on more year of studying for her Masters degree. Is it possible to extend a travel document validity period?

Not an extension just another new one.

Usually yes. Sounds like you have had 2 granted.
