I just have a few more questions as we finish filing the I-129f form, and all of you have been so extremely helpful!

On page 2, Your address history.

It says to provide your current address first if it is different from your mailing address.

Well, it isn't different from the mailing address, but what I don't understand is it's already automatically filled out the date end as "Present" on the printed out page, so wouldn't that mean I'd have to fill in my current address first because of that anyways?

Page 3, question 31A city/town/village of parent's address. Would that be the current city/country they live in right now?

And if so, for Page 3, Parent number 2's information, question 36A and 36b.

Asking for the city and country of residence. Problem is that parent has sadly passed away so we're not sure what we should put down.

Next question

Page 7, 38f, Travel document number for the beneficiary. I am the beneficiary, and I wasn't given a travel document. I'm a Canadian who just came in as a visitor. Am i missing something here? Or do I leave that blank?

And final question page 8 question 62A,  Consular processing information. It's asking what U.S embassy or U.S consulate. How do I find out what that would be? I'll be coming from Canada, going to Maryland.

Thank you SO much again. I greatly appreciate it

Page 2 - You only need to fill out the current address if its different - I dont think the date at the end really matters...? Sorry, maybe I'm missing the question here. If your mailing and physical addresses are the same, just fill them out in the mailing address section.

Page 3 - Yes, that would be their current city.

for 36A and 36B, I would write 'Deceased'

Page 7, 38F, Travel document is just incase you have something alternative to a passport. Fill in your passport details and you should be fine.

Page 8, 62A - that depends on where in Canada you are, as to what embassy/consulate you're nearest..

On question 8.j. you will check box "YES", stating your mailing address and physical address are the same.  In line 9.a. you can place "Same As Mailing Address Provided".

Regarding the parent that has passed away: In the questions asking City/Town/Village of Residence & Country of Residence, place "Deceased"

Next question

Page 7, 38f, Travel document number for the beneficiary. I am the beneficiary, and I wasn't given a travel document. I'm a Canadian who just came in as a visitor. Am i missing something here? Or do I leave that blank?

Place "N/A" in question 38.f.  In the question previous, 38.e., make sure to provide your Canadian passport number.

And final question page 8 question 62A,  Consular processing information. It's asking what U.S embassy or U.S consulate. How do I find out what that would be? I'll be coming from Canada, going to Maryland.
All Canadian K1 Visa interviews and processing are done in Montreal.

My Canadian fiance and I just finished the K1 Visa process, as she came into the US on Sunday May 28th.  If you have any other Canadian related K1 Visa questions, feel free to DM.

Page 2 - Address History

If you fill out the application on the computer and check "yes" on question 8.j. "Is the current mailing address the same as your physical address?" - then the computer automatically makes that part of the form not fillable. However, if you are completing the form by name, just check "yes" and put None in each box. But make sure you CHECK YES if it is the same.

Page 3 - Parent's location

Yes, current city/state/country of where they live at this very moment. I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I would put the DECEASED and the DOD in both the City/Town/Village Residence and country of residence boxes. Or you can write the last location of residence there and then on the additional information page, put the name of the parent deceased and DOD.

Page 7 - Travel Document

I put my fiancé's passport information in there (he is the beneficiary). Whatever you use to travel to the U.S. is what goes there.

Page 8 - Consulate

Write the name of the U.S. Consulate where the interview and petition will be sent to once USCIS adjudicates and approves it.

ROC Filing:

4/21/2021 - Sent ROC Package via FedEx

4/22/2021 - FedEx package delivered and signed

5/11/2021 - Check cashed

5/14/2021 - Received NOA1 via mail (NOA1 date: 5/8/2021)

6/9/2021 -  Biometrics waived - Case updated to Fingerprints taken

Thank you so much You've been incredibly helpful, I super appreciate it!

I'd love to take you up on that, I'm so nervous about us getting an RFE. :(

I do have another question, page 7 again, question 38D, Date authorized stay expired or will expire as shown on form I-94 or I-95. I wasn't given either forms? All I got was a passport stamp at entry.

Would I write NA again?

Thanks again, I'm so grateful for the help, especially considering you just did Canada-USA as well. :)

hi, did you take the advise to put NA? if yes, did it go well, no RFE?

i was just wondering because, the question before that was if you visited USA , so if youve been to USA, you can get your i94 from a website, just enter your info and you will also see the Date authorized stay expired or will expire as shown on form I-94

thank you in advance for your reply
