My Fiance lived in the US as a dependent of a military member but then moved to a different country before the 2 year probationary period to get her green card was completed. She has her SSN and Card still, but we aren't sure on if we need to get a new number or if she's even allowed to work with that number or if we need to go to the SS office and get it stamped saying she can't work because technically she's on a different visa. Any help?

SSN is hers to keep and use. She won't be able to work on it until getting the Employment Authorization card (EAD, I-765) which you apply for at the same time as AOS

You may have an easier time opening bank accounts together and getting her drivers' license with the number all ready to go.

SSN is hers for life, but she cannot work with it without either an EAD Card or Green Card — anything else that requires an SSN such as getting a drivers license, opening a bank account, signing up for credit cards, etc., is all fair game.
