Hello,

My legal, financial & support documents were received by NVC about two weeks ago. I called their customer service and they confirmed that they received it but I asked why the website was not update and they said that they dont update it. Is that true? I would imagine that they would keep the website up to date. The website still says that i need to submit my legal, financial & support documents.

Website I am referencing: https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

Sincerely,

they don't update the website they will however tell you on the phone they received it. they will update it when the case is complete just call when 30 days has passed and see if anything has changed.

I am just wondering why you said call after 30 days from the day their received it?  I was looking at the estimated time for NVC processing and it looks like it's around 10.5 weeks according to some VJ members.  30 days is less than 5 weeks.  I am just wondering

My friend applied for her parents.  NVC processed one parent in two weeks, another in 12+ weeks.

all case varies, hence if you have time, call every week to inquire if you wish.

Chances are most reps will tell you that processing will take 11 weeks so you'd have to wait, but who knows. You might be one of those that are lucky and have it completed way before the 11 weeks, at that point they will let you know that it's completed.

Hope all goes well, and good luck!
