i-134 regarding assets, N/As

Regarding the N/As - I know I'm probably overthinking a lot but the instructions did say to put either N/A or None if stated, on items that do not apply to you. I'm just wondering if it's better to do too much than too little. Hoping someone who's done the new version of the i-134 can share their experiences.

For example for Part 1 2a, "Other Names Used" I put N/A, for Part 2 9a, 12, (Beneficiary's Spouse/Children) I also put N/A - really just things like that. As well as the part for the interpreter and preparer's names I put N/A as well. Just hoping that will be okay.

Regarding assets, I really just have a checking and savings. I don't own anything else, so from Part 3 5-9a (after stating my income and balances), everything is a zero. Is that common, I'm wondering?

N/A'S are fine.

As for the assets and all, if you're using income as your show of support, you don't generally need to worry about any of the other items. I left those areas blank on mine.

If you want to use banking information though you can and print off like 12 months of records to show the stability of the savings and all.

Probably being a bit paranoid, but did you put N/A in all boxes, or for example, just in "Family Name" of Child 1?

I put it in the Family Name area, not the entire section, haha. But you know where they give you a couple extra spaces in case you have more than one child/dependent, I put N/A for all of those on the family name.

On last years form, I did the same as you did with "N/A" and placing "Zero" or "None" in questions requiring numerical response.  My thought process was that I wanted to show the USCIS that I indeed read the question, and did not over-look any question by leaving it blank.

Our application was approved with no problems.
