This exact thing happened to my wife and I. When you go for the interview (if the baby has been born already) make sure to take the birth certificate with you to the interview. This will be VERY beneficial for you in the process. My wife and I had heard all sorts of things that they might ask us, etc. We were nervous, but, all they did was ask us questions that we had already answered on the paperwork we filed for the AOS. So we answered the questions the same as we wrote on the papers. When the lady asked if we had any children, we said "we do now" and she asked "do you have the birth certificate with you?" We did so we gave it to her and she made a copy of it and put it in the file. She then told us that because we had our son there was no way they would deny our case.

Don't worry about anything; everything will work out. :) We got through that step and we are STILL waiting for the removal of conditions to be accepted (we filed it back in September 2016). They are very behind!
