My bf had his interview in Morocco 2 weeks ago. They took his passport and told him to leave his cell phone on they would call in a week. Well it is now almost 2 weeks. We wrote consulate and they just say under further administrative processing. Everthing was perfect... paperwork evidence. His police report is clean. I dont know what the hold up is? Has anyone been through this? I heard if they take the passport it is a good sign.please respond. Thanks

It sounds like your boyfriend is undergoing the standard administrative processing for K1 visas in Morocco. It is a good sign that they took his passport. They are most likely running his name through an FBI check that can take anywhere from 1 to 6 weeks. I would not worry. They will contact your boyfriend when his name clears and issue his visa.

My husband (fiance at the time) was told that he would receive the visa and that they would call him when the administrative processing was complete. He received his visa about two weeks after his interview.

Have patience, I'm sure all will be fine.

we cant if hes not here but thats what we planned on. We still have hope though. We have had such good luck so far. I filed jan 9 of this year and his interview was march 7 so its only taken 2 months so far. Im praying our luck doesnt run out.
