 We are sending off our packet this week!!!!

 

My fiancé is still in the British army though so my question is this:

 

When he gets called in for his interview, will paperwork from the British Army saying that he has signed off be okay or will he be denied an interview, or worse, a visa?

 

I have not been able to find any information that states he has to already  be discharged in order to be granted the K-1.

 

Does anyone have any personal experience in this?

 

I'm really looking for someone who's actually been in this specific situation.

I really can't comment with any certainty or knowledge of this exact topic (i.e. someone being in the military), but I'd assume that as long as you have an official letter from the army to say that he would be discharged by X date (or perhaps a guarantee that he would be discharged before moving), then this would suffice.

 

The embassy seems to use a fair amount of common sense when it comes to being interviewed, so I'd personally say it should be fine, although this is just my own opinion.
