My question is about the I-864W form , I live abroad and I am the US petitioner for my wife on CR1 case , I have 10 years of contribuirion to  social security, can I use I-864W form instead of the I-864 form? I read some cases here on VJ that the beneficiary filled out the I-864W  signed and include the petitioner social security statement printed out from the SS website and both signed a statement they not receive any welfare, also the petitioner signed a ssa-3288 to gave  the peission to verify the petitioner social security earning credits,  any Clarification about this will be  good help.

My  Roc timeline:

08/16/19  sent I-751 packet to USCIS Lockbox in Dallas

08/21/19  packet received by USCIS

08/21/19: received text message with case number ( Texas Service Center)

08/23/19: received extension letter in the mail

08/30/19 received fingerprint appointment letter

09/17/19  fingerprint appointment day (done)

09/24/19  fingerprint review completed

The 40 quarters of qualifying employment need to have taken place during the marriage to be able to use an I-864W instead of an I-864. If you're filing for a CR-1, meaning your marriage is under two years old, then this won't be the case.
