Hello everyone! So we are trying to adjust status from K1 visa next week and my petitioner doesn't have paystubs. Can we just send w2s, form 1040 and his proof of employment?

The w2 form goes with the 1040 and shows proof of previous years income and tax filing. The pay stubs and letter goes towards proving his current income - the one being used to qualify. Without them you risk an rfe (very likely) - he can request copies from his employer.

get a copy of his bank statements showing he is currently making money, should be in the form of regular payments into his account.

what type of work foes he do since an employee of a big company would be expected to have pay stubs while someone who is self employed would be expected to show regular deposits into thier account.

He just got out of the army and don't have access to get his paychecks.

That's good additional evidence, but doesn't come from the employer.

He has w2's so he wouldn't be self-employed.

if he just got out of the army that is a past employment and since it has finished it will not count for sponsorship. only his current job counts. the taxes are required to show he pays taxes on his income.

Exactly, he needs a CURRENT job that meets the poverty requirements.
