Funniest thing I read all day...Trump responsible for the student loan crisis

Where did you read that?  I certainly never said he was responsible for it.

What I state was that Obama put in measures that make it easier for students to pay off and get rid of the loans, measures that were rolled back by the Trump administration.

Are people really this comprehension-challenged around here?

Why not end the short-sighted policies that led to this crisis? Putting a bandaid over it ain't going to solve anything, then you'll just have new ones. Ways to lower tuition(already discussed here in depth in the past), end free for all loans, and the other policies that were the root of all evil here. We're about to have a pension crisis thanks to mostly liberal policies, we have a student loan crisis thanks to mostly liberal policies, but hey lets talk about Dodd Frank which didn't solve anything anyway, or about a problem with student debt that existed long before Trump. :dead:

Yes unfortunately, when you watch the likes of Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson on Fox News it generally does that to you.

You'll have to direct me to the details of the proposed solutions for me to comment.  If they make college education more affordable and accessible to all, then I likely would support it.  But again, I'll need details for me to make that determination if such a solution really is one.

And if you read the above post, Trump is also responsible for the US and worlds population.

This guy sure is magical.

Wonderful.

I suppose I'm in the wrong forum if I wanted people who can actually read, let alone real debate.

I've mostly stuck in the immigration process related forums, but it's becoming harder and harder for me to keep my mouth shut while watching Trump take America backwards, so I've become more vocal in political forums.

It's always been the Republicans goal to take America backwards into the 20th century and not forward into the 21st century.
