Here we have someone either promoting or catering to a leadership that is treating science as if it were fiction, treating humane methods of population control as if it were a sin, giving key cabinet positions to CEOs, billionaires, and lobbyists, treating health care as if it were a perk, rolling back protections established in internet privacy, student loan crisis, and pre-recession banking practices, and permanently turning the Supreme Court into another partisan entity.

 

All this, along with a track record of a selfish, egotistical personality that has little regard for any of the long term consequences of anything unless it benefits him.  

 

Dark days ahead indeed.

If I get out my leftist to English dictionary, I'm presuming this means enforcing immigration laws (deporting law breaking illegals) and exercising his constitutional authority to limit immigration? Ugh, not breaking laws himself, how inhumane.

Can you point in the Constitution where this is a right? If not.. it certainly is a perk.

The legislation’s primary focus is sectored into two categories. User information considered sensitive would be subjected to an opt-in approval system, meaning the data would only be permitted for company use if the person gives clear approval. In contrast, user information deemed non-sensitive would be subjected to an opt-out approval system in which data is automatically permitted for business operations unless notified otherwise.

Blackburn said she came up with this arrangement after talking with both members of the affected industry and consumers.

“What I would hear from people was ‘Hey, you know there are some people that I want to have an online relationship with. I do business with them, I want them to have some of my information. There are other people I don’t want to have any of my information,'” Blackburn explained. “So I think this is a way — if we do opt-in on sensitive information — for consumers to have more control of their virtual presence.”

The Internet Association, a political lobbying group representing tech giants like Facebook, Google and Amazon, call the bill misguided.

 

 

I'm sure the tech giants are just really worried about protecting our privacy thus oppose bills that give the consumer more control over their privacy. Terrible.

I wasn't aware there was criteria for giving these positions to those who are completely unknown? If this was the case, why didn't Obama do this?

Not to mention his questionable mental health, which might present a national security problem, and all his connections with Russia, and the shady deals associated with it.
