If Trumpcare fails America will be ready for single payer me thinks.

Personally I think that was the DNC plan all along with Obamacare.  Give people a taste of the sweets, then when it implodes, everyone will clamor for single payer.  Most likely this will happen here as well which will be great for all those people that don't actually get sick and will create a monopoly in a large portion of the American economy

I think the plan all along was to provide healthcare for everyone no matter their income, rather than it being a "perk" for only those who could afford it. I do think the ACA is flawed in many ways and would much rather a single payer system. Unfortunately there isn't enough support in congress for a single payer system to pass at this time.

So it will be healthcare for those that aren't seriously sick.  If you do get sick, just wait a year or so and maybe you can see a specialist, or surgeon, or maybe you will die.  Actually, if you die, that will be the best for the single payer entity right?

I expect we will end up with single payer which appears be something President Trump is for.  I just hope everyone understands that wait times for serious illnesses will increase, just look at Canada.

So only "seriously sick" people deserve and require healthcare? Preventative healthcare that includes  check-ups, patient counseling and screenings to prevent illness, disease and other health-related problems is just a sham? I don't understand your logic.

No system is perfect, but single payer appears to be the best for everyone on a grand scale. Sure there will be some wait times for procedures, but for the most part no one goes without the healthcare they need. Usually the most critical illnesses and procedures take precedent over the lesser ones.

If America does go single payer it'll finally join the rest of the first world. Most of these countries have had it since the 20th century, here we are 17 years into the 21st century and only one party in Congress sees sense, the other party just see profit and dollar signs at the expense of people who are sick.
