Hi everyone! Here is a question, what to do if we already got a mail from nvc and from embassy too, but still don't have a NOA 2, and even on uscis it's not updated?

So...  if the Embassy has already contacted you, that means you should have your KEV number...???

If you do have that number,  technically, you can start getting things ready for your interview - to schedule medical exam, fill out the DS-160 and etc..

The only thing confuses me as well - you might need a copy of your NOA2 of your I-129F for an interview.. And since you say you don't have it despite the fact you've been already contacted by the Embassy, I would recommend to contact the Embassy and describe the situation. Just to make sure - the case is really approved AND in Kyiv, so you can proceed with your interview. Also I would ask HOW you supposed to do so without NOA2.

Fiancé and immigrant case specific questions: Kyiviv@state.gov

or call - Call +380 44 383 8066

I would prefer to e-mail - in this case you would have written proof of your communication and what you've been told to do.

They usually pretty good with reply and should answer you within 1-2 days.

Good luck!!

Yes, they sent me e-mail with that number, and my fiancé has already got a letter from NVC with the same case number

Thank you a lot, I'm going to write them, but as I know I'll need noa2 just in the USA already, for green card...?

You are very welcome!!

Well, I might be mistaken , but it looks like NOA2 of your I-129 OR was sent and got lost, OR was forgotten to be sent (very seldom, but it can happen) and your case status has never been updated online after approval..

You are right, you will need this and for your green card application..

So, I believe, in your case, guys, you should contact the Embassy - to make sure everything is fine, they have your case. And when it's confirmed by the Embassy, your Fiance needs to contact USCIS as a petitioner and file an inquiry that he has never gotten NOA2 of the I-129F. They can mail/re-mail (in case if it was sent, but got lost) a copy of NOA2.

One more thing -  I don't remember if you need your A-number at the interview stage (on DS-160 or somewhere else), but you'll definitely need this for your green card application. NOA2 of I-129F has this number - i would check this with the Embassy. If they have your case, a copy of NOA2 is in the file. So, if you need the number at some point, they could provide it for you.

you should be fine :) Almost "there' :)

GOOD LUCK!!!

Well they asked me to write or A number or a case number, so I wrote that one with kev and everything is fine) it's about a medical examination

hopefully I won't need it now, so my fiancé will have time to file  an inquire

and I'll wait for an embassy's reply

Thank you 😊

Good :)

P.S.  I'm sure you are aware of that, but just in case :)  - you should bring your vaccination record (immunization card) in for your medical exam. They will need this as a basis for issuance a form DS-3025. When medical is done and it's time to pick the results, make sure they gave you the form  -  needed for a green card application.

hi

it has been a while since we sent our I-129F and package exactly 98 days and till now we did not receive any answer for NOA2

is it ok that we write to processing center to inquire about our case? is that timeframe normal? please advice us.

just to mention we receive our NOA1 (hard copy)

thank you

Check the processing time with the Service Center you filed. It will give you an idea how long it could take.

I believe you can inquire your case if it takes longer than 5 or 6 months. You are still within "normal processing time" according to the USCIS Processing time information.
